Chapter 3

“Lexi, honey, I almost forgot to tell you that your science teacher called he said to meet him tomorrow before class” Lexi’s mom said as she set down the chicken in the center of the table.

“Okay” I replied just as the door bell rang.

“I’ll get it” Vance said running into the house.

Vance was Lexi’s older brother. Lexi and her mom started to eat just as Vance came through the doorway with a tall muscular man behind him and a few steps behind them were two boys one was blonde while the other one was redheaded both of the boys were semi-muscular and both stood a little over six feet tall.

“Mrs. Evans I’m Leo I come from the establishment this is Jared and Noah” the man said pointing to the boys next to him, “may I speak with you alone?”

“Sure, lets go to my office” Mrs. Evans said signaling to follow her.

Vance excused himself and left Lexi alone with Noah and Jared.

“Would you like some dinner?” Lexi asked the Noah and Jared pointing at the dinner table in union both boys nodded no.

Lexi stayed in the patio finishing her dinner and excused herself, “I am going to be in the library if you need anything do not hesitate in asking it’s the last door on the left on the second floor” Lexi informed the boys as she left to the library.

Once she got to the library she went to the laptop that was usually in the middle of the room. She opened the internet and started to browse for books to buy and add to the library.

“You like Shakespeare?” a voice came from behind her. Startled she turned around and saw Jared standing behind her.

“You scared me, don’t do that and yes I do” Lexi said feeling her heartbeat calming down after the scared.

“Sorry I didn’t mean to startled you I just got really bored down there” he sat in a chair he had moved from another table.

“Really good play you should read it” he said pointing at Timon of Athens on the screen.
