Chapter 18

“We should get going” Leo said waking them all up.

“Yea, Leo can you do us a favor?” Lexi asked

“Yea, sure” Leo replied

“Can you go into town and see what James and Caroline are up too, then meet us in the entrance of Atlantis?” Lexi asked

“Yea I’ll see you in a few hours” Leo said leaving toward town

“Okay so we should get going” Lexi said walking out of the abandon house. Roxie, Noah, and Jared followed her. They started to walk toward the Enchanted Forest is silence.

“Sebastian” Jared started to scream his name as they approach the forest

“Over here” Sebastian yelled from behind some bushes. Jared started to walk toward the bush followed by Lexi, Noah and Roxie. Behind the bushes there was a beautiful green meadow and Sebastian was laying in the middle looking up into the sky.

“Ready to go?” Jared asked

“Do we have to go right know the sky is so beautiful this morning” Sebastian expressed

“Yes if we don’t want to be here when Leo finds out we lied to him” Jared told him

“Fine” Sebastian said and got up

“Let’s go” Jared said and started to walk toward the forest

“Hi Lexi how you been?” Sebastian said as he saw her

“Hey” Lexi replied and followed Jared into the forest

“How much farther do we have to walk?” Lexi wondered, as she reached Jared

“Like ten to fifteen minutes it’s not much further” Jared replied

“Were exactly are we going?” Sebastian asked when he catched up

“We are going to ask for an audience with the a council to transport us to their realm” Jared told him matter-of-factly

“But they never let anyone into their realm ever” Sebastian proclaimed

“We might change that” Jared told him

“So Lexi how have you been?” Sebastian asked knowing he wasn’t going to get more chit chat from Jared

“Good and you?” Lexi asked

“Okay, how you holding up?” he asked concerned

“Alright, how is Navelia?” she asked

“She is okay she wanted to come?” He said

“Oh” Lexi replied

“She knows you’re the guardian as a matter of fact all of Atlantis does that is why we agreed to your plan” he said

“Here we are” Jared informed

“Where is Noah and Roxie?” Lexi asked looking around

“They are covering our tracks they’ll catch up in a few minutes” Jared informed her

“State you business” A tall boy with green eyes and pointy ears ordered

“We request a meeting with the head council” Jared stated

“She is currently not available” the boy informed not backing down his place

“It is very important” Jared claimed

“The head council will only see the Guardian” he informed them

“But she doesn’t know our ways” Jared exclaimed

“Sorry the head council will only see her” he informed them once again

“Hey what is your name?” Lexi asked

“Bolard” he informed her

“Well Bolard you better move your ass and let us pass” Lexi told him

“No sorry” Bolard apologized

“Move your ass” Lexi told him again

“Fine but only the protector” Bolard said

“Come on Lexi let’s go before he changes his mind” Jared told her passing by Bolard

“I thought I said I would only talk to the guardian” a tall beautiful brown eyed lady said

“Sorry ma’am but this is her first week here she doesn’t know our ways” Jared informed

“Fine you can stay but only talk when asked” she informed

“Yes ma’am” Jared replied

“So Zaharra why do you need to go into our realm?” the lady asked

“I don’t know cause-” she turned to look at Jared for help “we are trying to hide from James”

“Only you can go, your friends will have to stay behind” she informed

“No I won’t go without them” Lexi refused

“She’ll take it” Jared told the Lady

“No I won’t, not without you guys” Lexi told Jared

“Lexi I said I was going to do everything to protect you and if it means you go on alone then so be it” Jared told her

“No if my friends don’t go ten I won’t either” Lexi told the Lay and started to walk out.

“Fine your friends can come” the lady said

“Okay I’ll go get them” Lexi said and ran out of the room. Outside Sebastian was leaning against a tree, Noah was cleaning the swords, and Roxie was pacing back and forth.

“Come on let’s go” Lexi called them over. They followed her into the building and through the corridors until they reached the head council’s room, where Jared was waiting for them.

“You guys ready?” the head council asked

“Wait, can I make a call?” Sebastian asked. When the head council nodded yes he took out his phone and started to dial. He went outside the room to get some privacy a few seconds later he came back.

“James was at the entrance along with Leo, Lexi your father escaped but Leo was held captive he is now currently in the Atlantis’ prison” Sebastian informed them

“So Leo was working for them” Roxie claimed disappointed

“Is that all can we get going now?” the head council asked

“Yes sorry to keep you waiting” Sebastian apologized and went to stand next to his friends.

The head council stomp her staff twice and a blue mist arose from under their feet. It rose and went around them surrounding them in a circle until they could no longer see what was outside of the blue mist bubble that was made around them. A few second later the blue mist began to dissolve and they were standing in a green meadow the grass was up to half their shin and there were flowers of all colors. Birds blew near them and around them singing their morning song. All sorts of animals ran around in happiness. Most of them where weird looking, a fox near them had three tails, a bird flapping its wings near then turned out to be a tiny kangaroo with wings. This place was so beautiful and peaceful. They were no longer in the Enchanted Forest they were now in the Fay realm.
