Chapter 1:

“Turn in your project as you walk out the door and Ms. Evans if you don’t mind I need to talk to you so if you would stay” Mr. Smith said as the bell rang.

Mr. smith was a tall skinny man he was the chemistry teacher who always wore a lab coat and safety goggles. This was the fifth time that Mr. Smith told Zaharra to stay after school but she never stayed. Today she decided to get over it and stay but then she saw Mr. Smith talking to another student to make a run for it. Zaharra had met her best friend, Kadin the parking lots they were best friends since second grade.

“Hey ” she told him who smiled and asked, “ ready to go home?”

Zaharra nodded ‘yes’ and they left to Kadin’s car. Since Kadin got his car in freshmen year he has been given her a ride to and from school. When they got home Kaidin went staright up to the kitchen to Zaharra’s room while she went to the kitchen to get food. When she got to her room Kadin was on her laptop. He was a facebook freak, he was always online. Zaharra went to her closet and changed into some shorts and a tank top.

“Kadin are you going to stay for dinner?” Zaharra’s mom had came into the room.

Mary was a tall slender woman she had short light brown hair and blue eyes, she always wore skirt suites with pearls.

“No we have family night tonight, I should get going bye Mrs. Evans see you tomorrow Lexi” Kadin got up and hugged Lexi good-bye.

Lexi’s mom had left to the kitchen to prepare dinner and Lexi walked Kadin out. Lexi went to the kitchen and asked her mom, “want me to set up the table?”

Her mom nodded and Lexi went to get the plated from the cabinet. She was about to set the plates on the table when she realized that their dining room was not reay just yet. Lexi’s mom had complained that the dining room was to small and that nobody ever used the waiting room, until she finally took matters into her own hands and broke down the wall that separated both rooms now she was adding some last details but it was impossible to eat and not breath dust. For the past three weeks they had being eating out in the patio. When she finished setting up the patio’s table she went to the library to read a book since her mom had burned the chicken and had to make another one.
