Chapter 14

“What took you so long?” Jared asked as Lexi walked into the training room

“I kind of got lost” on my way back

“Liar, I have notice that when you lie you bite your left cheek” Jared accused

“I’m not lying” Lexi defended herself not knowing how to tell him that her dad wanted to kill her

“Don’t you trust me?” Jared asked disappointed

“Yes, but I still need some time to cope” Lexi explained, “Can we go somewhere far from here?”

“Sure let’s go to the enchanted sea I bet you’ll like it there” Jared told her

Lexi went to her room to change into something warmer. Lexi used the jacket from her attire she just took out all the weapons it had in there. Lexi was surprised once she put on the jacket it felt so much lighter than the last time she had worn it. Jared was waiting out in the lobby, the only color he had on him was his platinum blonde hair and his light skin other than that it looked like he was wearing clothes from a black and white movie.

“Today I’m going to sow you a new way of traveling” Jared said excited

“Where do you think you two are going without us?” Roxie said as Jared and Lexi were about to walk out of the establishment

“We were going out for a walk” Jared explained

“Without us how rude” Noah told them then turned around as if hurt by not being invited

“Fine Roxie and Noah would you like to come with Jared and me; we are going to go to the Enchanted Sea”? Lexi asked hem

“Well that is some walk I’m guessing you two really have a lot to talk about” Roxie told them and then added, “and yes we would love to go with you two”

Lexi turned to Jared which didn’t look to happy about her inviting Roxie and Noah

“Why did you invite them I was going to take you there so we could talk about why you looked sad, and I was going to talk to you about you being the you know what” Jared said not to happy about taking Roxie and Noah along, and he was right the less people knew about her being the guardian the better and safer for her as Jared had told her

“I think we should just tell them, I mean they are my friends too” Lexi hoped he would say yes she didn’t want to go sneaking around Roxie and Noah with Jared just so they could talk about her being the Guardian

“You should tell us, wait tell us what?” Noah said confused

“I’ll think about it” Jared said and walked away from Roxie, Lexi, and Noah

“How are going to get there it’s a long way you know that right Jared?” Roxie wondered

“We going to use the portal” Jared explained

“Do you know how much it cost for a one-way portal; it’s about 5,000 dollars per person” Roxie clarified

“I know Jared the only times we have being on it was because of establishment matters” Noah added

“How do they know we are not in establishment matters” Jared said with a huge smirk on his face

“I don’t know let me see, cause we are not in our attire we are in regular clothes” Roxie screamed at Jared

For the rest of the way to portal all of them were quite. They finally arrived in front of a huge building. They walked in through a pair of double glass doors. Inside was magnificent it had huge pillars going up and down all over the place to keep it from falling down. The walls and floors were all made of marble. The only light in here was the light coming from the huge sunroof.
