Chapter 21

Lexi let her lips dissolve into his. She had imagined this moment so many times in her mind and finally it had come true.

“Lexi” he told her between kisses

“Lexi wait” he told her again. She kept on ignoring him finding her way back to his lips. Then her perfect few minutes were shattered, he had pushed her away. She sat in the floor, where she had landed, and started up at him.

“I’m sorry Lexi I can’t” he told her looking at her somber, “I need sometime alone go home with Noah and Roxie”

She stared at him in disbelieve a few second ago she was doing what she had wanted to do in a long time, kiss Jared, now she started his back as he walked away from her. She got up picked up her heels which she had left next to the rock they were sitting on and started to walk back to where they were suppose to meet at again with Roxie and Noah. After few minutes of walking she reached the meeting spot. Roxie and Noah were standing there looking confused. As she looked up into the sky she saw Jared flying back to the palace on the eglion.

“Is everything okay?” Roxie asked her concerned

“Yeah, why wouldn’t it be?” she asked

“I don’t know probably cause Jared came out of the forest looking upset and took off with no word and then a few minutes later you come out walking alone” Noah explained

“He looked upset?” she asked more to herself

“Yeah, he did” Roxie told her, “What happened?”

“Nothing, he just said he need some time alone” she told them not wanting to tell them the real reason

“Okay so should we get going?” Roxie asked

“I’m guessing you’ll be riding with us” Noah told her and help her on. Then he went over to help Roxie. After he help Roxie he jumped on. Roxie hugged his brother to hold on. The eglion began to lift and Lexi wrapped her hands around Roxie realizing she still hadn’t she still had her mind in the kiss had she done anything wrong. The ride felt so much shorter on the way back. Noah jumped off as soon as they landed and help his sister off then went over to help Lexi. Once she landed she realized she didn’t have her heels on and put them on before the queen or Amelia snapped at her for not wearing them. Lexi looked around looking for the other eglion that Jared had rode here but was nowhere in sight.

“Have you seen Jared?” Lexi asked as she saw Amelia. She was happy to have had put on her shoes when she did.

“No” Amelia told her and started to walk toward the palace.

“Come on Lexi lets go to our room we need to rest after wearing heels and a corset all day” Roxie told her tugging at her arm

“I’m going to look for Jared, he is really stupid when he is upset” Noah informed them and jumped back on the eglion. Lexi let Roxie lead her back to their room. After a few seconds of walking through so many corridors they had reached their room.

“Where is Jared and Noah?” Sebastian asked them as they were about to go into their room

“Noah is looking for Jared” Roxie told him

“Oh okay, Lexi Navelia said hi” Sebastian told Lexi

“Oh next time you talk to her tell her I said hi” Lexi told him and went into the room.

“I can’t believe I lasted an entire day in this corset” Lexi exclaimed as she sat on the bed. Then there was a knock on the door.

“Come in” Roxie yelled and Amelia walked in.
