For about an hour they were up in the air flying on the Pegasus under them Lexi could see the red-orange-yellow tops of the trees that surrounded the city. Then Lexi was astonish by the green-blue water she had never seen a lake that look so beautiful as this one under them she wished she could stop her and go swimming it looked peaceful.

“Charmed Lake the only lake in the underworld…. Its water is green-blue because of the creatures living there but trust me it is nothing compared to Atlantis come on its so much beautiful if we see the sunset there” Jared explained

Finally after riding the Pegasus for about two hours they landed in a rock in the middle of a huge lake.

“Thought you said there was only one lake” Lexi asked because unlike the Charmed Lake this lake had clear water not green-blue.

“There is”

“Then why is this water not like the one of the Charmed Lake” she asked even more confused

“It’s not technically a lake its Atlantis, the Charmed Lake goes all the way across the underworld and Atlantis is like a big bowl of water with an island underwater” Jared tried to explain

After Jared tied up the horses he went up to the edge of the rock and got water in a plastic container he had in his messenger bag. When he reached the Pegasus he put down the container in the middle of the Pegasus then he pulled out another container out of the bag that had food and put it next to the container of the water.

“Do you have food in there for us I’m starving?” Lexi asked as Jared went to the edge of the rock and sat there looking out into the water

“Of course, I packed us some sandwiches and a kool-aid juice pouch here” he said handing Lexi her sandwich and kool-aid

“So what are we waiting for” she asked as she sat next to him to eat her sandwich

“the sunset I told you it’s the most beautiful time of the entire underworld”

“I’m sorry to tell you this but its 3 in the afternoon it won’t come out for another five hours at least” Lexi said looking at her watch

“it’s not three yet we still need another two minutes till three… that’s the beauty of Atlantis at exactly three there is a sunset that can only be seen on Atlantis” he said pointing out into the water “See, isn’t the most beautiful thing you have ever seen?”

This left Lexi speechless indeed it was the most beautiful thing she had ever seen the way the sun reflected on the clear water and made it appeared to be orange. Then all of the sudden the rock started to shake she lost her balance and fell down.

“Be careful, I forgot to tell you the best part of the sunset of Atlantis, when the sun starts to set the Atlantis rises to the surface” he pointed out to three rocks and as it continued to rise the three rocks turned out to be the trident of Poseidon. As more of the city continued to rise more and more of this wonderful city was revealed. The top of the houses was cover in seaweed and the people that live in this city transformed from not having noses and having gills behind their ears to having noses and not having gills.

As soon as the city stopped rising Jared pulled Lexi by the arm and led her toward the entrance of the city. When they approached the entrance gate two guards in armor of pure gold stood straight and demanded for them to introduce themselves and their business.

“My name is Jared Williams this is Zaharra Evans we are watchers and we came as tourist to your city there is not institute matter here” Jared declared very serious.

The guards looked at themselves and then opened the gate to let them through. From far away Atlantis looked astonishing but being in front of this city was dream like. Lexi had read so many books about this amazing city how it had a humongous statue of Poseidon right in the center and then around the statue was the plaza, buildings, and houses and no matter that street you took they all lead to the statue of Poseidon, but nothing compared to actually walk in the city and see it real life.
