The trio were unpacking America's things in his new house. Admittedly it was mostly Canada and America doing the unpacking, while Mexico was just being sad.
"Are you sure you're moving out though," Mexico said.
"I'm pretty sure. I mean, we've already gotten this far," America said.
"Buttttttttttt what if you just..... don't?" Mexico asked.
"Mex, I already paid and everything. It is what it is," America said. Mexico let out a long sigh.
"Ok........ don't forget about us," Mexico said.
"I won't. I said I'll visit all of the time," America said.
"Okkkkkkkkkkkkkaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyy....... I still don't see why you have to move out though. Despite the whole 'already doing the paperwork' thing," Mexico said. America shrugged.
"It might be good! I'll have some independence, I'll have to be more self-reliant, and maybe I can even focus on getting a new job! Who knows, I might become a functioning adult!" America exclaimed.
"Impossible," Canada said, unpacking the last of the boxes.
"I bet you're gonna be back home in a matter of days- maybe even hours," Mexico said. America shrugged.
"I guess we'll see," America said.
Once they were done unpacking, the trio decided to do something about America's crappy new garden.
"This is a wasteland," America said, observing the overgrown yet patchy grass, the dead flowers, and empty space.
"You have at least one flower bush," Mexico said, pointing at a flower bush that was growing against the fence.
"One is not enough. It's garden time boys," America said. And so, they began working on America's garden. They bought some seeds to plant, and they also put a cute little outdoor table near the garden. Because tables.
In their struggles, they also rented a leaf blower, which America was having too much fun with.
"Be careful! You're getting leaves everywhere!" Mexico exclaimed.
"But fuuuunnnnn," America exclaimed, blowing the leaf blower towards Mexico, who was standing right by a flower bush. "Ohhhh pretty! You got a petal shower!" America exclaimed. Mexico angrily spat out a flower petal.
"I hate you," Mexico said.
The trio spent the rest of the day working, and woke up in the garden the next day.
"........ wait how long were we gardening....," America said, picking himself up off the floor.
".... maybe alcohol wasn't a crucial step," Canada said.
"But.... you only had a ginger ale?" America said.
"Well I didn't want to be left out," Canada said. Mexico walked out of the flower bush on the wall like that one Homer Simpson meme but backwards.
"Flower bushes aren't comfy," Mexico said.
"On the plus side, my garden looks fabulous," America said.
"Yep! Me and Mex should probably head home now...... we'll miss you, Ame," Canada said. America smiled.
"I already told you, I'll visit every day," America said. The trio had a group hug, and then Mexico and Canada left. America was sitting in his empty house, alone. He started thinking of ways to improve his new living space, and started pondering the decorations. But he realized you need money to make decorations.
