"Uuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh what do you mean," America said.
"Well, we haven't seen you without glasses! You hidin' something?" Mark asked.
"Oh, Nah, it's just uh... I'm colorblind, and these glasses help me see color better," America lied.
"Ohhh I see, I thought they were just plain sunglasses," Casey said.
"Heh Nope, anyway let's talk about other people's eyes and how weird they are like Marcos- actually his eyes are cool so.... dammit why cant I have your eyes," America said, wanting to change the subject.
"Yeah, it's called like... heterochromia right?" Casey said.
"Yep. My dad has it too, a lot of people I know have it actually," Mexico said.
"That's cool, the only cool thing I have is a birthmark on the back of my neck that looks like a triangle," Mark said.
"Well, there's a theory that birthmarks show how you died in your previous life," Mexico said.
"I must've been stabbed in the neck...," Mark said.
".... I have a birthmark on my... Y'know," Jesús said.
"Damn, you went out with a bang," America said. They continued talking about death and all that good stuff, when they suddenly remembered that time existed and it was getting very late.
"We should get going... hey, how 'bout tomorrow we hang out at a coffee shop and plan out our day from there?" Mark asked.
"Aw ye like that 'friends' show that's hip with the kids," America said.
"... actually, do kids even watch Friends? That shows been out for a while...," Casey said.
"Eh, doesn't matter, we'll get outa your guy's way now," Mark said.
"Ok byeeeeee," Canada said. Their human friends left, and the trio got ready for bed.
"Hey guys... I like those three, but.... do you think we should tell them the truth?" Mexico asked.
"No?!? Remember, they're not supposed to know about our existence!" America exclaimed.
"But... don't they literally write fan fic about us?" Mexico asked.
"Not about us, about their interpretation of us! They didn't start writing the fan fic because they found out about us, because they formed the idea of, 'what if countries were humans?'. It's not like they had to know we existed to come up with that idea!" America exclaimed.
"Ughhhhhh well what's the big deal? I thought you said we could basically say anything in New York and nobody would bat an eye!" Mexico exclaimed.
"I know, I know, but we can't be breaking rules! UN will get angry, and he'll tell our mom, and then we'll get grounded!" America exclaimed.
"Okayyyy fine, we won't say anything. Let's just sleep now, I'm tired," Canada said. The trio went to sleep in a matter of seconds because they're just cool like that.
The next morning, Canada woke up first. He looked over at the other two. Mexico had taken all the blankets, and America took all the pillows. Their sleeping positions looked like a fighting stance while laying down, but they were otherwise peaceful. Canada decided to get himself ready first before he bothered them. While Canada was getting ready, he heard a phone buzzing. He looked over, and realized Jesús left his phone. Canada picked it up, planning to put the phone in his backpack so he could give it back, but a text caught his eye.
"'Do they seem suspicious to you?'," Canada read the text softly to himself. Canada was usually against snooping, but he also opened up the text without a second thought, because tea.
