(Just a heads up: the NAT will be wearing masks and stuff because lolololololololol)
Greenland was in his room getting ready, while he listened to the trio screaming and fighting.
"I DON'T WANNA GO!!!! I WANNA STAY HOME!!!!" America shrieked.
"DON'T MAKE US GO PLEASE!!!! I DON'T WANNA GO BACK!" Mexico yelled. Greenland walked downstairs to see Mexico and America huddling in the corner brandishing guns while Canada was staring at them with disappointment.
"It will just be a week. C'mon, don't you want to see how the humans are doing?" Greenland asked.
"NO THEY CAN ALL BURN IN HECK FOR ALL I CARE," America cried. Greenland crossed his arms.
"I know you don't mean that. Come on, it'll be fine," Greenland said, trying to pull his children out of the corner.
"PLEASE I DON'T WANNA!!!" Mexico cried.
"Too bad! Now you two better cooperate or else I won't let you guys have tacos when we get back home!" Greenland exclaimed. Mexico and America reluctantly obliged, and together they drove to the UN building. When they got there, they found a bunch of their friends standing around in complete dread.
"I really don't think I can do this...," America said, feeling sick. Today was the day where all the countries, provinces and states were to visit their capital, and needless to say, none of them were too excited.
"It's just a week... one week, and we'll be back home," Canada said, a bit antsy himself.
"Ugh... I hate humans...," America said.
"Aw, don't say that! There are some good ones," Canada said. America sighed.
"I guess...," America said. The countries went to their designated teleportation portals because science is just cool like that. Since north and Central America is one big continent, they all went to the same portal that lead out to Washington DC. The states, provinces and cities were the firsts to go, the countries following shortly after. The trio held onto each other's hands, standing in front of the portal.
"We faced off against ghosts, demon ex's, other dimensions and more... we can handle a week in hell, right?" Canada said. They held their breath, and then together, they stepped through the portal.
Upon emerging to the other side, the trios appearance changed. America's hair turned blonde, Mexico's hair turned dark brown, and Canada's light brown. Although America's black eyes stayed the same, Canada and Mexico's eyes faded to more natural colors.
"Ok... me and Caleb have to head to the airport now... good luck Eric," Mexico said. Since they were now on earth, they had to go by human names . America became 'Eric', Canada became 'Caleb' and Mexico became 'Marcos'. When everyone left, America took a deep breath, and tried to face the oncoming week with confidence.
And if you really think I'm going to write a bunch of chapters of North America losing their faith in humanity then wHat?
Wholesome friend time only
I don't need to tell you how f*cked we are
Y'all know
It was now a week later, and America was waiting outside of a heavily guarded secret entrance to a building in NYC, where the only convenient way back home was located. Everyone had already gone back, except for the North American trio, because Canada and Mexico's flights were delayed and America didn't want to leave them behind. Suddenly, he heard them calling from a distance, running towards him.
