Mexico and America were sitting on the couch together holding each other close.
"Do you think the other dimension us are all dating as well?" Mexico asked.
"Hm.... good question....,"
*meanwhile, in the dimension where the trio weren't initially friends*
Mexico was sitting on the bathroom floor crying. He accidentally burnt dinner, and he decided it was better to hide then tell someone.
"Mex? Mex! Where are you?" America called. Mexico tried to calm his tears, his ex's voice still ringing through his head
You can't do anything right can you?!
Why do I even love you?!
You're lucky a worthless piece of sh*t like you has someone like me!
Suddenly, America walked in the bathroom and found Mexico sitting on the floor.
"Mex...," America said, kneeling down next to Mexico, who flinched. America gently wiped away Mexico's tears and sat next to him. "What's wrong?" America asked.
"I-I... I b-burnt dinner...," Mexico said. America wrapped his arm around Mexico.
"It's ok Mex, it's not a big deal. How about we order pizza? Does that sound good?" America asked. Mexico sniffed and nodded. America helped Mexico up and led him to the living room, where he held Mexico some more. Mexico cuddled into America arms and tried to calm his shaking.
"This is about him isn't it?" America asked softly. Mexico nodded.
"I... I know you'd never... but he was... he... he was so mean... I... I sound like a baby don't I...," Mexico stuttered, hearing his ex's voice
Man up, stop crying
"No, you don't... I'd f*cking kill him again if I could ... Mexico, I would never hurt you over something like this. Kill Canada and I might, but not over something as small as burnt food. I love you Mex, I would never hurt you on purpose," America said.
"You promise?" Mexico said.
"On Soviets grave," America said. Mexico chuckled, tears still falling down his face. America wiped them away and gently kissed Mexico on the forehead.
*meanwhile, in the personality flip dimension*
Mexico and America were walking through the park, holding hands. America was shyly looking away from Mexico, and Mexico was calmly observing the scenery.
"Ame, are you ok? You seem off," Mexico said.
"I-I'm ok... J-just thinking...," America stuttered.
"About what?" Mexico asked. America looked down.
"N-nothing...," America said softly. Suddenly, Japan jumped out of a bush.
"HES IN LOVE WITH YOU!" Japan exclaimed.
"Japan! Respect their privacy!" Nekomi exclaimed. America was dying of embarrassment, and crying, and Mexico just calmly escorted America to their car.
"M-mex I-I'm so s-sorry," America cried, being a mess. Mexico just held his hand and looked him in the eyes.
"America... is it true?" Mexico asked.
"N-no I swear," America lied. Mexico frowned.
"That's too bad... I love you...," Mexico said. America gasped, and Mexico smiled. Mexico kissed America on the cheek, and America proceeded to again die of embarrassment.
