Greenland was chilling out in the UN building with ASEAN drinking tea.
"So, you're engaged?" ASEAN asked.
"Yep, my fiancé is visiting me soon. I'm not entirely sure if this repurposed office room counts as a jail cell but I'll call it that as to not demean your efforts," Greenland said.
"You don't mind being a prisoner... right?" ASEAN asked.
"No, especially since I get food, WiFi, visits... this is barely imprisonment. This is just an impromptu hotel visit that I can't leave," Greenland said.
"Well, as long as there's no hard feelings... we're trying to convince the trio you need saving," ASEAN said. Greenland shrugged.
"They'll probably be back once they are done exploring. I'm not too concerned," Greenland said.
Meanwhile, the group was hanging out in LA, taking pictures of the Hollywood sign, looking cute, all that fun stuff. They were having a great time, not getting randomly stopped in the street for any reason until suddenly-
"¡Jesús! ¿Cómo has estado? ¡te extrañé!" A man exclaimed. Jesús hugged them, smiling.
"Everyone! This is my cousin Julio! I didn't expect to run into you man!" Jesús exclaimed.
"You should have told the family you were coming to California! Weren't you going to visit?" Julio exclaimed.
"Oh, This was more of a friend trip, I didn't wanna drag them along...,"
"Oh, we'd love to meet your family!" Casey exclaimed.
"Well, good thing the family is all at tía Coco's house! Me and Oscar were just out getting some drinks," Julio said.
"Heck yeah family gatherings!" Mexico exclaimed. The group followed Julio to his tía Coco's house, where they found a bunch of people hanging out and laughing.
"Everyone! Look who finally came to visit!" Julio exclaimed.
"Jesús! Mijo how's your mother and father? And little Emily?" One woman exclaimed.
"They're good! I just came to visit with a few friends!" Jesús exclaimed, motioning towards the rest of the group. Mexico smiled. There's always something joyous to a countryhuman about being in a room full of your people- if the people are happy of course- and it was extra pleasing to him that the smell of the house hinted at nearby tamales.
Despite barging into the party, the group was accepted pretty quick. Jesús, Mexico, America and the other humans were hanging out with Jesús's cousins, while Canada and California were sitting at the kids table.
"Your parents are arguing?" One teen said.
"Yeah, and they're always angry at me too like I'm a part of it!" California said.
"Adults are weird," one toddler said.
"They are," Canada agreed.
"I made my parents dinner once and it made them happy! Maybe you need to make them a gift?" One kid exclaimed. California shrugged.
"Maybe," California said.
Meanwhile, the adults were having a pleasant conversation.
"So, you two are dating?" Patricia, One of Jesus's cousins, asked Mexico and America.
"Yep," America said.
"The long distance must be difficult Huh?" Patricia asked.
"Um... yeah, sometimes," Mexico lied. Remember, 'Marcos' is from Mexico City and 'Eric' is from Virginia. Issa bit far.
