Greenland was sitting in a chair, having a panic attack as the trio and Iceland were trying to calm him down.
"It'll be ok Greenland! We've been preparing this for months! And even if something goes wrong it's ok! It won't ruin your relationship, I promise!" Iceland exclaimed. Greenland wiped away the tears streaming down his face.
"I-I know I... I'm j-just so f*cking nervous...," Greenland said. The trio glanced at each other and sighed.
"What if... we don't go?" America asked.
"What?! Why?" Greenland exclaimed.
"Well... we always seem to cause trouble... maybe everything will be fine if we aren't there?" America said.
"No, you're going... I just... does anyone have some wine?" Greenland said.
"Ok, no getting drunk until after the ceremony," Iceland said.
"Ok, ok... I j-just.... I don't think I can do this...," Greenland said.
"Greenland, you got this! Everything about today is beautiful! It's your birthday, you're getting married to the man you love, your friends and family will be there, there's no reason to panic! I understand if you're a bit nervous, but I promise it'll be ok!" Canada exclaimed. Greenland took a deep breath.
"O-ok...," Greenland said.
"Greenland?" Denmark said.
"I-is it time?" Greenland asked.
"Yeah, are you ready?" Denmark asked. Everyone looked at Greenland, who took a deep breath.
"I'm ready," Greenland said.
After the ceremony, it was party time.Greenland threw the bouquet, and the groomsmaids were trying to catch it, because tradition is fun sometimes. Sometimes.
However, the bouquet went over their heads, and fell into Mexico's arms.
"Wha-,"
"Ooooooohhhhh look at who's getting married next!" America exclaimed. Mexico just made embarrassment noises. Canada smiled at the two of them, however sighed.
"Canada? Is everything ok?" Greenland asked. Canada smiled sadly.
"I... I wanna be a dad.... but I can't seem to figure out how to be a husband first," Canada said. Greenland laughed.
"Oh Canada, the whole reason I am a husband is because I adopted you idiots...," Greenland said. Canada looked at him, a sudden realization dawning on him...
Years pass, as years do, and with that brings change. Of course, Greenland moved in with his husband after the wedding, leaving the trio with an empty room. You could do a whole lot with an empty room. You can make it an office, an art room, a guest bedroom, a duck room...
Or even a nursery.
After months of doing all of the parenting training and seminars he could, and even more months going through the long process of adoption, Canada finally brought his five-month-old baby home.
"Hello baby!! Who's the cutest baby in the world? Who? It's you!!!" America exclaimed, holding his nephew in the air.
"Ame! Be careful with him!" Canada exclaimed, gently taking his son from America and holding him lovingly in his arms. Mexico came downstairs, holding the rest of his luggage.
"Ok... we're all packed... we'll miss you, Nada," Mexico said, him and America preparing to leave. Canada smiled sadly.
"I'll visit as often as I can... lord knows I'll need help with this lil guy...," Canada said. The trio collectively sighed, feeling off.
"...Look.... I know we're gettin' old and all... and y'know, we shouldn't get too sentimental before we leave.... but... can we have some tacos before we go? for old times sake?" America asked. The trio smiled, finally feeling at peace.
"Ribbit," Pablo said. Canada smiled at the frog sitting on his son's head.
"You're right Pablo, that's a great idea...,"
