"You look handsome, man." Killian said as he buckled Jonah into his car seat.
It's been two weeks and Killian is fully attached to Jonah. With the help from Heather, Killian was able to get Jonah on a schedule and it made everything a bit easy for him. He was also granted permanent custody and changed Jonah's last name to King.
While authorities were looking for Arissa, Killian told them that he would be open to allowing her to visit Jonah but they found her deceased in her car unfortunately. Her death was ruled as a suicide and it shattered everyone. Even though she caused a lot of chaos, it broke their hearts to see that she could not overcome the postpartum depression she was facing. Killian was relieved that she put Jonah first to make sure he was in good hands, but he wished he was able to do something to help her. However, it did make him wonder where her mother was and if she ever found Jonah's biological father.
Currently, Killian and Jonah were on their way to Heather and Amaru's house for Karis' baby shower. Every time Killian and Jonah went out, Killian made sure they matched some kind of way. They both had on yellow polo shirts with khaki shorts. Killian had on a fresh pair of white forces while Jonah had on a pair of white socks. Killian did not want to buy him shoes just yet because he would grow out of them too fast.
They arrived at the house as Heather and Vale were putting the finishing touches on the decorations. "Hey, babies." Heather said as she kissed their cheeks. "Don't y'all look cute in your matching outfits."
"Right! You two look so handsome!" Vale chimed in.
"Get him out of there so I can hold him." Dear said. Killian did as told and Jonah did not waste any time snuggling against his new great-great grandmother. "Mhmm, he would've been your Big Mama's new baby."
"Most definitely." Killian chuckled. "I'll be right back. I have to get these gifts from my truck."
"I hope you didn't go too crazy and outshine everybody." Cynthia said.
Killian smiled. "You know I did."
After a few moments, everyone began to arrive slowly. Karis, Zuri, and Taylor weren't due to be there for another forty five minutes so they had enough time.
"I remember when men weren't supposed to be at baby showers, but your generations changed that." Cynthia said.
"Doggone right." Arman teased. "Y'all remember when H went off on Amaru during the nesting party for Jax?"
Amaru sucked his teeth. "Shut up."
Someone rung the doorbell and Killian went to open it. He smiled once he saw Raya standing there with a large gift bag. "Hey, Raya." He said as he went in for a hug.
Raya smiled back and accepted his hung. "Hey, I hope I'm not too late."
"You're right on time." Killian escorted Raya into the living room and showed her where to put the gift.
Kennedi watched them with a smile on her face, and Jaxon immediately mugged her. She felt someone looking at her and glanced at Jaxon. Kennedi sighed and stormed to the backyard where Mya and Shakur were setting up the games.

"Awww, this so cute!" Karis said as she showed everyone the matching outfits Heather bought for Zuri and Cali.
"Yes, that is my style." Zuri said. "Great job, nana."
Heather chuckled. "I'm glad you like it, baby."
After Karis and Taylor finished opening the gifts, they continued more games and the last game was between Karis and Taylor to see who knows who better. They were sitting in chairs back to back with a yellow paddle for Karis and a brown paddle for Taylor. So far, they were halfway through the game and they were tied.
