Amaru banged on Brandon's door with Lennox and Heather behind him. Lennox decided to tell her parents about the situation, but she sworn them to secrecy because if her brothers found out then all hell would have broke loose. Amaru and Heather understood and did not waste any time pulling up to Brandon's apartment to get Lennox's things. He forgot that Lennox had an active father who did not play when it came to his kids.
Brandon opened the door and his eyes immediately got wide when he saw Amaru. Amaru quickly grabbed him by his throat and slammed him against the nearby wall. Brandon's feet were elevated from the floor as he struggled to breathe.
"Get your shit, Chocolate." Amaru said in a calm tone and Lennox did as told. Heather followed behind Lennox to help her. "I swear if I didn't have my wife, kids, and grandkids I would kill yo ass." Amaru said as he tightened his grip. "You know what the fuck to do and what not to do. Not only did you put your hands on my baby girl, but you put my unborn grandchild at risk."
"I can't—I can't breathe." Brandon struggled.
Amaru tightened his grip even more before dropping Brandon onto the floor. Brandon gasped for air as Amaru laughed. "Yeah, you're most definitely one of them. You were tough when you were putting your hands on my baby though." He made his way to where Heather and Lennox were to help them because he was tempted to break Brandon's neck.
"Daddy, is he still alive?" Lennox asked.
"Yeah, his punk ass is alive. Let's hurry up and get the fuck out of here before I kill him for real." Amaru replied as he began to help them.

"So y'all don't have any steak?" Taylor asked.
Zuri sighed. "Sir, read the menu!" She yelled, making Karis laugh.
They were currently playing restaurant and Taylor was stressing Zuri out because he wasn't reading the menu. Karis held Cali in her arms who was fully alert and staring a hole in Zuri's face.
"I don't like your attitude. I want to speak to a manager." Taylor said as he crossed his arms.
"I am the manager." Zuri replied while rolling her neck.
"Oop—" Karis chimed in.
"Well, Ms. Manager—y'all need to update your menu. What kind of restaurant only has chicken tenders as the main course and carrots as a side? I don't want any doggone carrots!" Taylor told her.
"Well, Karen—you can get out of my establishment!" Zuri retorted.
Karis laughed loudly as Taylor gasped while staying in character. "Why, I never! I'm reporting you to the Better Business Bureau! I'm getting this place shut down!"
Zuri scoffed. "Yeah, yeah, cry me a river. Why are you still here?"
At this point, Karis was in tears and could not breathe. Taylor and Zuri always put on a show while they were playing and Karis would be laughing at them hysterically. She could only imagine how it would get once Cali got older.
"Aight, Z. We gotta stop. Your mama is about to die and I don't have a comeback." Taylor said as he pat Karis' back when she began to cough. "I'll win an argument with you soon though."
Zuri began to laugh when she saw the look on Cali's face. The two month old looked as if she couldn't believe these were the grownups she was going to be raised by.
"Are you okay, mommy?" Zuri asked.
"Yes, pumpkin." Karis replied once she caught her breath. "Y'all had no business making me laugh that hard."
