"Man, I can't believe I have a former professional football player in my backyard." Afa said.
Killian chuckled. "I'm glad to be here."
"Here you go, handsome men." Vale said as she placed plates of food in front of Afa and Killian. "Killian, I got you almost everything. I hope you enjoy the Samoan food."
"Thank you, mamas." He replied as he picked up his fork ready to dig in.
"If you don't like the macaroni salad then I'll take it." Karis told Killian.
Killian laughed. "Go head on, big hungry."
"Do y'all mind if I sit here?" Taylor's youngest aunt asked.
There have been children who were born with a aunt or uncle who came after them or just a few years older than him. That's exactly what happened to Taylor whose youngest aunt is only four years older than him.
"Go ahead." Taylor said. "Raya, this is Killian. Killian, this is my aunt Raya."

Killian raised an eyebrow. "Aunt?"
Raya laughed. "We're only four years apart. I just turned thirty one."
"Oop." Kennedi said as she drunk her beer. Yes, she was there as well and everyone was loving her—especially Afa who found her very amusing. "Killian will be—"
"Kennedi, chill." Killian warned. He had his first two meetings with Dwayne and has vowed to focus only on himself. He also decided to enroll into school to get his masters, which will start in the fall.
Kennedi pouted as she went back to eating her food. "This is no fun." She mumbled.
"So, Killian. I heard you were going back to school to get your masters." Vale said.
"Yes, I start in the fall. I'll be doing online classes with Vanderbilt." Killian said.
"That's my alma mater." Raya chimed in. "You have to be on your shit with your academics."
Killian chuckled. "I already know. I decided to go with Vanderbilt because I knew Bama wouldn't give me much of a challenge since most of the professors knew me from playing football."
Raya nodded. "So, what are you trying to do?"
"I want to teach at a higher level. I'm still going to teach at the high school but I want to teach college students during the summer—maybe at an HBCU." Killian explained.
"That's great." Raya said.
"So what's up? What do you do?" Killian asked.
"I'm a pediatrician." Raya replied. "I was actually Zuri's doctor until she was about six months. I moved to North Carolina for a while then I came back last year."
"Oh okay. You being Zuri's pediatrician for six months of her life proves how small Memphis is." Killian teased.
