Karis' body shook as she cried while laying on the hospital bed. Her blood pressure was extremely high and she was going through anxiety attacks. It was bad to the point where one of the nurses had to help her pump because her hands were too shaky.
"Karis, I have two people here—Killian and Raya?" The nurse who's helping her said.
Karis quickly sat up and nodded. The nurse allowed them in and they wasted no time comforting Karis. "He's still in surgery. I don't have an update yet." She began to ramble. "Where are my babies? Are they okay? Does Cali have milk? How did y'all know we were here? I tried calling but I just couldn't and I—and I—"
"Karis, calm down. Breathe, mamas." Killian said in a soothing voice. "The girls are okay. I was able to get more milk for Cali. I also sent the detective the log in information for the security system so they can continue to investigate."
"I'm going to see if I can get an update on Taylor then I'll call Vale and Afa." Raya told them before she exited the room.
"I hope they don't blame me, Killian! I love Taylor and I would've taken the bullets for him! I swear I would!" Karis said as she cried hysterically.
"Karis, c'mon. Don't do that. Nobody's gonna blame you." Killian assured her.
"I just—"
All of a sudden, Karis' eyes rolled to the back of her head as her body shook and she began to foam from her mouth. "Karis?! Hey, I need help!" Killian yelled.
The nurses and doctors rushed in and Raya was right behind them. She quickly grabbed Killian out of the way so they could do their job. Killian was hysterical and there was too much going on for him to think straight.
"Killian—"
"Don't talk to me, Raya. I—I can't think right now, mamas." Killian said as tears rolled down his cheeks. "Fuck!"
"Killian, listen to me." Raya said as she carefully grabbed his hands. "She's having a seizure and it's most likely due to her blood pressure. It's through the roof right now. They just need to give her some medication to calm her down and then she'll need to get some rest. She will be okay." She assured him. "Now, Taylor is still in surgery but he's stable. Vale and Afa are on their way. If you'd like, I can call your family to tell them what's going on while you take a breather."
Killian sighed deeply and nodded. "Okay."
"Give me your phone then go outside and get some fresh air. I'll be right here waiting on you." She said. Killian did as told and made his way outside the hospital.

Zuri rested her head against Karis' chest as she slept in her mother's arms. Amaru and Heather picked her up to see Karis. They did not want her to be left in the dark about what was going on even though Killian was against it. He did not want Zuri to be exposed to this.
Karis was calm thanks to the medication that the doctors gave her. They assured her that it would not affect her breast feeding and she was grateful. It was confirmed that the seizure was caused by hypertension, and they may have to prescribe her with medication to help regulate her blood pressure due to this not being her first issue with it. Killian was sitting by Zuri and Karis' side while everyone else waited in the waiting room to hear about Taylor.
"Excuse me, Ms. Bailey?" The detective said as she walked into the room.
"Yes?" Karis replied as she sat up a bit.
"We have a lead on the suspect. We just need to know if you can identify this person." The detective showed Karis screenshots from the video footage making her furious.
