Taylor held Karis in his arms while they laid in bed. Taylor has been attached to her since she woke up from her nap. When Mya called him to let him know what happened, he was a wreak. So many things were running through his mind as he cut the three and a half hour drive into two and a half hours—that's just how fast he was going.
"Taylor." Karis said as she rested her head against his chest.
"Yeah?" Taylor replied.
"I found something out while I was in the ER, but nobody knows yet because I wanted to tell you first." She told him.
"What? Is there something wrong?" He asked.
Karis looked at his face and smiled. "No, nothing's wrong. I—I'm pregnant."
Taylor gasped as he sat up. "You're pregnant?!" For real?!"
"Yes!" Karis laughed as she got up to get her purse. She took out the ultrasound pictures and handed it to him. "We're seven weeks!"
Taylor could not help the tears that fell from his eyes. "Are we keeping this private or can I call my parents?"
"You can call them, baby." Karis said as she wiped his tears and sat down in his lap.
Taylor picked up his phone and FaceTimed Vale who answered almost immediately. "Hey, I was about to—oh Karis! You're okay, honey. I was so worried!" Vale began to ramble.
"Everything is great, mama. Is dad around? We have some news to share." Taylor told her.
"Oh, yes. Here he is." Vale said as she forced Afa into the camera. He wasn't much of a FaceTimer. "What do you have to share with us?"
"We're having a baby!" Karis exclaimed while Taylor showed them the ultrasound pictures.
Both Vale and Afa gasped at the news. This would be their first grandchild and they were very excited. They both began to speak in their native language, which made Taylor laugh.
"They're happy, baby." Taylor told Karis. His first language was not Samoan but he knew a limited amount of words.
"Oh, my goodness! I hope it's a girl! I want a granddaughter." Vale said.
"You got Jasmine. I want a grandson." Afa protested.
"Jasmine does not count. She is my great niece from your side. I want my granddaughter!" Vale replied.
Taylor and Karis could not help but laugh at the two of them. They were happy to see that Afa and Vale were excited about the news.

"My precious." Kennedi said creepily as she hugged Shakur when she walked into the house.
Shakur laughed. "What's up, Kimbo Slice? You good?"
"You should've seen it, daddy. I was tagging that nigga." Kennedi said as she tried to reenact the fight.
"You crazy, girl." Shakur said. "I'm glad y'all alright. I was in my hotel room stressing."
"I'll forever be good, daddy." Kennedi told him. Mya walked downstairs with her hair disoriented and a robe on, making Kennedi frown. "Why were yall fucking before I walked in here?"
"Girl, we are grown and married! We've been fucking since college and we ain't gon stop." Mya said. "You staying for dinner?"
"No, I'm gonna stop by to check on Jax and his smooshed ass face. I just came to see my daddy." Kennedi said, hugging Shakur again.
