"I swear if I could throw this shit I would." Taylor said.

The physical therapist laughed. "I know it's frustrating, but you've been doing PT for four weeks now and you've already been making progress. I bet in another month you won't be needing that cane anymore."

It's been a month since the incident occurred and Taylor has been going through physical therapy to strengthen his right side again.

Zareek has been arrested and ended taking a plea deal which gave him ten years instead of twenty five. This frustrated everyone except Taylor. He knew his karma was coming soon. As for Lamont, he did not face any charges because he knew nothing about it, but his brother did who is also facing jail time up to five years.

"Yeah, we'll see." Taylor scoffed.

"Have faith in yourself, Taylor. You'll get there." The physical therapist said. "I'll see you tomorrow, okay? You can walk me out."

Zuri watched as Taylor stood up and grabbed his cane. He slowly limped towards the door with the support of his cane and escorted his therapist to the door.

Once Taylor returned to the living room, he felt someone staring at him and it was Zuri. "What's wrong?" He asked.

"I don't like her." Zuri said, referring to the physical therapist.

"Who? Iris?" Taylor asked as he slowly sat down.

"Yes, I don't approve." Zuri replied. "We need to find another therapist."

"Why didn't you say anything four weeks ago?" Taylor questioned. He was taking Zuri's statement seriously because she's a very wise child and did not miss a beat.

"I didn't want to hurt your feelings." Zuri said.

"You wouldn't hurt my feelings, Z. If something ever bothers you then you let us know, okay?" Taylor assured her. "Now, I won't be able to find a new one by tomorrow so she will be here. I just can't miss an appointment if I want to be almost back to my regular self by the wedding."

Zuri nodded. "I understand."

"Okay, we're all cleaned." Karis said as she walked into the living room with Cali in her arms.

The three month old blew out her diaper and Karis was completely stressed about it. She never had that issue with Zuri so she was shocked when it happened.

Karis sat next to Taylor and helped him hold Cali comfortably. "Zuri wants us to look for another physical therapist." Taylor informed Karis. "She's not comfortable with Iris."

"What's wrong, pumpkin? She did something to you?" Karis asked Zuri.

"No, I just don't like her." Zuri said simply.

"How do you feel when she's around?" Karis said.

"Uncomfortable." Zuri replied.

"Okay, baby. I'll start on looking for a new one before next week, but you'll be okay with her coming tomorrow, right?" Karis said.

Zuri nodded. "Yes, I'll be okay."

Karis smiled and nodded back. She was happy to have a relationship with Zuri to where she was comfortable to express how she felt. She was also glad she had that type of relationship with everyone else—especially Taylor.

Cali began to whine as she wiggled in Taylor's arms. Taylor knew what she wanted but he wasn't able to lift her up. "Karis, can you put her on my chest?" Taylor asked.

Karis positioned Cali on Taylor's chest and she wasted no time snuggling against him. "Aww, daddy's girl." Karis cooed as she kissed Cali's cheek.

"No baby talking, mommy." Zuri said.
