Karis giggled as she sat on Taylor's back while he did push ups. They've been back together for three months now and have been doing well. They both have a better understanding of one and another, and everything has been great.
"Aight, I'm done." Taylor said as he laid down on the floor.
"That was only fifty three, pussy." Karis joked, making him laugh.
"How about you get your pretty ass on this floor and do some, dick head." Taylor retorted.
Karis laughed back. "No, thank you."
"Excuse me." Jasmine said as she and Zuri walked into the living room. "Karis, can you do my hair like Zuri's?"
Zuri had medium sized feed in braids going back into two buns. Jasmine was half black and half Samoan, and her hair was thick and curly—which was almost similar to Zuri's so Karis had no problem with doing it. "As long as it's okay with your parents. Go ahead and call them." Karis replied. Jasmine smiled and nodded as she went to go get her iPad to call them.
"Mommy, why are you on Taylor's back?" Zuri asked as she kneeled down and rubbed the side of Taylor's face who looked beat and exhausted.
"He was doing push-ups and I wanted to challenge him." Karis said.
"Are you okay, Taylor?" Zuri said, forcing one of his eyes open.
"Yeah, I'm good." Taylor mumbled. "Tell your mama to get off of me."
"My name is Paul and that's between y'all. I was just making sure you were okay." Zuri said, making Karis laugh.
"Aight, both of y'all on my list." Taylor said.
"They said yes!" Jasmine exclaimed, returning to the living room with her iPad still in her hands.
"Okay, let's get started!" Karis said as she got up from Taylor's back. "Zuri, can you get your hair bag for me?" Zuri did as told. She was excited about her best friend having the same hairstyle as her.

Killian sat at the bar with Micah and Kennedi as they enjoyed their drinks and watched the Memphis Grizzlies basketball game. Kennedi enjoyed basketball and enjoyed more with her older cousins. This was their way of spending quality time together.
"What the fuck, bruh?" Killian said.
"You took the words right out of my mouth." A woman said.
Killian looked at the woman and smirked. He thought she was beautiful, but didn't want to shoot his shot after agreeing on a bogus play. Kennedi nudged Killian, trying to urge him to shoot his shot but he nudged her back to leave him alone.
Killian sucked his teeth at the foul that was called on Ja Morant. "I cant even watch this shit anymore."
"I'm surprised you are watching basketball." The same woman said.
"Why do you say that? You know me?" Killian asked.
"Everybody knows you, Killian King." She said. "You're like the football version of Dolph—the face of Memphis."
Killian chuckled. "Damn, I'm honored."
She laughed back. "I'm Iris—Iris Riley."
