Karis dropped a few tears as she carried a sleeping Cali in her arms. It was a few hours after her party and only Taylor's family were in attendance. Nobody returned a phone call or a text message. She didn't know what was going on, but not showing up for her child was the last straw.

Taylor walked over to her and took Cali from her arms. "Don't stress it, baby. I know it hurts." He told her.

"This isn't fair to our baby." Karis replied.

"I know, but at least she won't remember it." Taylor joked, making Karis mug him. "Too soon?"

Karis smirked as she walked away. "Yes, too soon."

"Don't sweat it, okay?" Taylor said while following behind Karis.

"Taylor, I think I'm pregnant again." Karis blurted out.

Taylor's eyebrows shot up. "What you mean? You took a plan B after our slip up a few weeks ago."

"Yeah, I did but my period is late—extra late." Karis replied. "And I've been extra moody."

"Listen, I'm gonna put her down then I'll go get some pregnancy tests." Taylor suggested and Karis nodded.

"Mommy, Taylor?" Zuri said as she and Jasmine joined them in the living room. "May we have a snack before bed?"

"Yes, pumpkin. C'mon y'all." Karis said while giving Taylor a look.

Taylor quickly went to Cali's room to put her to bed before going on his mission. If Karis was pregnant, it wouldn't matter to him. However, he knew she didn't want to have babies back to back and there was so much drama going on right now. It was a bit of bad timing.

Amaru sat on the couch next to Heather. After a couple of days, the two of them calmed down and decided to go to therapy. They were struggling and needed counseling.

"Let's talk about what brought us to this point. What happened?" The therapist said.

"Guilt for our daughter and unborn granddaughter's deaths—especially on my end. And not having anyone there—not even my husband." Heather replied.

"Mr. King?"

Amaru shrugged. "I agree." He said nonchalantly.

"You don't seem to be happy to be here." The therapist pointed out. "Do you have anything to get off your chest?"

"Nah, I don't." Amaru said.

"He shouldn't because he got it all out the other day." Heather mumbled.

"Do you care to explain, Mrs. King?"

"He called me a bitch and basically said I made his life miserable." Heather said as she began to cry. "I know I have my faults, and maybe bring up a divorce was extreme but I'm trying. I am constantly reminded that I have failed as a mother with the death of our baby girl. Now I realized that I've failed as a wife."

Amaru sighed. "Heather, I'm sorry. I'm sorry for making you feel less than what you are. I was talking out of anger the other day and I allowed it to get the best of me."

"You meant what you said and you're right." Heather sniffled. "I'm sorry for everything."

"I didn't mean any of that, mamas. We all do shit that's questionable and unethical. Do I blame you entirely for Chocolate's death? No because I blame myself more than anything. The main reason why I left was to give you space because it seemed like all we did was argue. Instead, I abandoned you and I am sorry for that. I'm sorry for calling you out of your name. I'm sorry for blaming my misery on you. If anything, you've been in my corner since the beginning. You're at your lowest and I made shit worse with my words. We can get through this." Amaru explained.
