"I now pronounce you husband and wife—you may kiss the bride." The chaplain said.

Both Karis and Taylor smiled as they went in for their kiss. Zuri and Cali began to clap and cheer, causing everyone else to cheer as well.

Five months have passed and Karis and Taylor finally had their private wedding in Samoa. They had the girls, and Taylor's parents and close relatives as witnesses. They decided to just have Cali and Zuri stand at the altar with them due to the wedding party on Karis' end falling apart. The ceremony was very intimate and the couple were in their own world.

After the ceremony, pictures were taken of Karis, Taylor, Cali, Zuri, Afa, and Vale before they joined everyone else for dinner and refreshments. Taylor reached over and touched Karis' five month belly as she enjoyed the food that was prepared by the chefs. Last week they found out they were having a boy and Taylor was the happiest man ever.

"You know, I had plans on getting you pregnant after the wedding. I thought our goal was for you to not be pregnant during our wedding." Taylor teased.

Karis laughed as she pushed Taylor's hand away. "Shut up."

"Apples." Cali said with her lisp as she sat in a high chair beside Taylor. The one and a half year old had an obsession with apples—especially the green ones.

Taylor furrowed his eyebrows and looked at Karis. "You got her apples?" He asked.

Karis shook her head. "She ate them all while we were getting dressed."

Cali began to whine once she saw that her parents were not moving quick enough. "Apples." She cried.

"What's wrong with LoLo's baby?" Afa said as he walked over to them.

"She wants her apples, but she ate them all." Karis told him.

"LoLo can get that baby some apples. C'mon princess." Cali reached for Afa, allowing him to pick her up from her high chair. She looked over Afa's shoulder and smiled at her parents, making them laugh.

"She's too much." Karis said.

"Excuse me. Can I ask y'all something?" Zuri asked.

"Of course, Z." Taylor said.

"Why aren't Uncle K, Ken Bear, Uncle Jax—all of them—why aren't they talking to us? They were supposed to be here." Zuri said.

Karis sighed. "Sometimes people outgrow each other, and I guess that's what happened with us."

"But it hurt my feelings because they don't want to talk to any of us. Plus, Uncle K said he'll always be there for me, but he's not." Zuri said as she allowed her tears to fall.

"Hey, Z. I know it's disappointing, but we don't know the answer for that and we can't answer that question for you. However, there was a couple of disagreements here and there, but that doesn't mean they should've allowed our disagreements to get in the way of their relationship with you. I wish things didn't end up like this, but hopefully some things can change for the better." Taylor explained.

Zuri wiped her tears as she nodded. "Sorry for getting so upset."

"No need to apologize." Taylor assured her. "C'mon, let's get your face cleaned up."

Karis sighed as she watched Taylor and Zuri walk toward the restroom. It hurt seeing her child hurt behind this, but it is what it is. She completely cut ties with the King family—especially after they let her daughters down.

After the few months went by, everything seemed like it was getting back on track. The King family were currently having a cookout in Amaru and Heather's backyard for Killian and Jonah's going away. Everyone was there except for Karis, Taylor, and the girls.
