Lennox smiled as she entered the venue with Brandon by her side. She was currently eight months pregnant and was having her baby shower which was being hosted by Heather. She scanned the room and was a bit crushed when she didn't see Jaxon, but she expected it.
"Look at my pretty girl." Killian said as he went to hug Lennox with eleven month old Jonah is his arm. Jonah was now walking. However, he preferred to be carried around instead.
Jonah reached over and touched one of Lennox's fake eyelashes with a frown on his face. "Get your son." Lennox told Killian who was laughing.
"Dada." Jonah said as he continued to touch the lash.
"I know—it's something different but they actually look nice on her." Killian said. Lennox had naturally long and thick eyelashes that only needed mascara, but she wanted to try out lash extensions for the first time which did look nice on her.
Jonah stopped touching Lennox's eyelashes before he turned his head away from her and wrapped his arms around Killian's neck. "He's so rude. Fine, I won't get lash extensions anymore more." Lennox said as she tickled Jonah's sides.
Lennox and Brandon went around and greeted everyone else. Their family, college friends, and work friends were all there for them and their baby girl, Gia Shai.
Heather did a great job with hosting the baby shower. The food was great and the games were fun and competitive. Killian and Micah ended up playing six rounds of who could change a diaper the fastest, and Killian beat him each time by a second.
Currently, Lennox and Brandon were opening gifts while Heather and Amaru passed them. They asked everyone to gift them with more diapers and wipes than anything else and they did just that.
"This is from Jaxon." Amaru said as he slid the huge gift in front of them.
"Jaxon?" Lennox questioned. She was not expecting a gift from him.
"Yeah, open it." Amaru told her.
Lennox and Brandon stood up and opened the gift, revealing a Mercedes-Benz stroller. Everyone began to hype the stroller, knowing how expensive they could be.
"Ain't no way a baby riding better than me!" Micah yelled.
"Shit—he didn't get that for my son. I'm about to call his ass and he better answer." Killian said as he walked away with Jonah not far behind him.

Jaxon looked at the video that Karis sent him of Lennox and Brandon opening the gift from him. Jaxon sighed as he wiped a tear that fell from his right eye. A part of him felt like their relationship will never be back, but he was glad that he could put a smile on her face.
"What are you looking at?" Salah asked as she placed a plate of food in front of him.
"Chocolate and Brandon opening the stroller I bought for the baby." Jaxon told her.
"The baby shower was today? Why didn't you go?" Salah said.
Jaxon sighed and shook his head. "She doesn't want me there."
"I also notice that you've been hanging with me a lot on Sundays. Why aren't you going to your family dinners? What's going—"
"Can you shut the fuck up with all these questions?! Damn!" Jaxon snapped.
"I'm trying to figure out what's going on with you because you're always shutting me out! I want to make sure you're okay." Salah replied.
"You're not my wife or my girl, Salah. I'm just fucking your brains out—that's it." Jaxon said harshly, crushing Salah's feelings.
