Killian held Jonah as he rocked him to sleep. The eight month old was suffering from a fever and he was having a hard time finding sleep. He found comfort in Killian's arms while listening to his heartbeat.

The doorbell rung and Killian answered it for Raya. "Hey mamas." Killian said in almost a whisper as he gave her a kiss.

"Hey." Raya said back in the same tone. "I bought some popsicles for him. Did you get the chance to finish your assignments?"

Killian nodded. "Yeah, I did."

"Great, I'm so proud of you getting everything done." Raya told him.

Killian chuckled. "Thank you, baby."

After putting the popsicles away, Killian asked Raya to hold Jonah while he took Chubba outside. Jonah sucked on his thumb as he rested his head on Raya's chest. He was whining a bit because Killian put him down, but Raya quickly calmed him down by singing a song her mother used to sing to her.

By the time Killian and Chubba returned inside, Jonah was knocked out in Raya's arms which made Killian suck his teeth. "He was fighting with me, but he went right to sleep with you?" He questioned.

Raya giggled. "I sung a song that my mom used to sing to me. It's Samoan, but I can teach you."

"I'm willing to learn. This teething stage is hard. I was able to help out with Jaxon and Lennox, but this is hell." Killian replied.

"Speaking of Jaxon and Lennox, how are they since the other day?" Raya asked.

Killian cursed under his breath. "Chocolate is not talking to him or our dad. She's staying with Karis and them right now."

"Wow." Raya said. "Well, did she eventually find out what she's having?"

"Yeah, a girl. She's excited about that." Killian told her.

Raya smiled. "Aww, I'm happy for her."

"I was hoping for a boy—I want a nephew." Killian admitted.

"Nope, she had enough of you boys growing up." Raya said. "It was shown on Saturday."

Killian couldn't help but laugh. "Shut yo mouth, girl."

Cali relaxed in her swing as she watched Karis cut Taylor's hair. The baby's eyebrows were furrowed as she concentrated on what her mother was doing to her father—as if she was making sure Karis was cutting Taylor's hair right.

"How do you want me to trim your beard?" Karis asked as she dusted the hair from his face.

"You decide." Taylor said.

Karis tilted her head to the side, looking like Zuri when Karis would tell her to decide what she wanted to take for her lunch. "I like it scruffy but I can shape it up."

Cali began to whine as Karis started to shape up Taylor's beard. Lennox peeped her head in the room and looked over at Cali. "What's wrong with you, girl?" She asked as she went and took Cali out of her swing.

"I think she doesn't want me touching her daddy." Karis said, looking at Cali who was staring a hole in her face. "Speaking of daddy, have you talked to yours yet?"

Lennox rolled her eyes. "No, but I do need to go over there and get more things if it's okay for me to stay a little longer."

"You know you're always welcomed here, but y'all do need to talk—Jaxon too. You can't avoid them or the situation." Karis said.

Lennox sighed as she sat on the couch that was located against the wall of the hair room. "I know, but I'm just not ready. I'm still angry—they ruined my special day. If daddy was gonna be that way then he shouldn't have agreed to allow Brandon to come."
