Killian opened the door and his eyes widened when he saw Mya standing there with attitude written all over her face. "The fuck are you doing?" She asked him as she pushed by him. "I know you saw folks calling and texting you!"

"Shh, I have company." Killian whispered.

"Boy, you have lost your mind! Fuck you and yo company!" Mya yelled even louder. "Get your shit together and go see about ya mama! She's upset with you!"

"Why?" Killian asked.

"Stop being a fucking dummy and check your phone. I gotta go. Bye, Killian." Mya said as she walked away.

Killian closed the door and began to think about where he placed his phone last night. He went to the kitchen and did not find it. He then went to his bedroom and couldn't find it there either.

"Good morning." Iris said as she woke up.

"Good morning. Killian replied, still looking for his phone.

"Your phone is turned off in my purse. People kept texting you and I didn't want any distractions." Iris told him.

Killian sucked his teeth as he snatched her purse from the door knob and handed it to her. "You had no right. Now my family is upset with me because I wasn't answering their calls and texts."

"I'm sorry. I just wanted your company." Iris said as she handed him his phone.

Killian ignored her as he turned in his phone. He watched the notifications from last night and today pop up on his screen. He sighed as he read the angry messages from Amaru.

"Iris, you really overstepped—something could have been wrong and somebody could've been in the hospital. I have a grandmother who has lung cancer for heaven's sake." Killian told her. "You gotta go."

Iris sighed. "Okay, I'm sorry. I'll go." She said as she got up and began to get herself together.

"Mommy, I'm sorry!" Killian exclaimed. "I already got enough heat from auntie poppin' up at my place!"

"What happened?" Heather asked.

"I had somebody over and she turned off my phone and hid it in her purse so she could have my undivided attention." Killian said.

"Was it that forty-six year old?" Heather questioned, shocking Killian.

"Who told you? Kennedi?" Killian said.

"Don't worry about that. Just don't let that heffa distract you again." Heather told him.

"I won't. She's history." Killian assured her. "Now can you tell me what's going on?"

"You're about to be an older brother again." Heather said.

Killian began to crack up laughing as Heather gave him a blank stare. Killian's face turned red due to him laughing so hard. "Aight, mama. Seriously. What's up?"

"That's the news, Killian. I'm pregnant!" Heather told him.

Killian gasped. "Oh shit. Daddy's soldiers still march? How far along are you?"

"I don't know yet. I have an appointment this week." Heather told him.

Amaru walked into the living room and gave Killian a side eye making him nervous. "You know I'm upset with you, right?"

"Yes, I'm sorry. The distraction is gone—I promise." Killian assured Amaru.

"You know that I can't be soft on you like I used to be when you were a kid. You're grown as fuck now—and I know you have your own life, but you can't be bull shittin'. Especially when you're gonna have a family of your own one day." Amaru told him.
