Karis rested her head on Taylor's chest as she watched television. Amaru and Heather requested to keep Zuri so she sent Taylor a "you up" text and he was indeed awake. She really enjoyed being around him—not just because of the dick, but it was because he was very attentive to her.

"So, my mom is becoming curious about who I'm spending my time with." Taylor said.

Karis chuckled. "Yeah, so are my people. They wanted me to invite you over while we were having dinner."

"Well, why didn't you?" Taylor asked.

"I don't want to introduce my daughter to you just yet and I thought this was strictly sex." Karis replied.

Taylor nodded. "Understandable. However, I am feeling you and I mean that mentally and emotionally. So if this does become more than sex, then I wouldn't mind. Would you?"

"No, I wouldn't." Karis said truthfully.

"Great." Taylor said. "So, my parents are throwing a cookout for my dad's birthday on Saturday. Would you like to be my date?"

Karis blushed. "Yes, I will be your date."

"The party starts at four. How's your schedule looking that day?" Taylor asked.

"My last appointment is at two and it's just a silk press, so I'll be done by three thirty." Karis told him.

"Aight, so I'll give you time to go home and get yourself together and I'll get you around five." Taylor said.

"That won't be too late?"

"Nah, the food should be ready by then and they party until about two in the morning but we won't be staying that long because that's when my drunk uncle wants to start shit." Taylor explained, making Karis laughed. "We'll be right on time."

"Yeah, I feel it. I'm glad I don't deal with my drunk uncle anymore." Karis said.

Taylor was fully aware of Karis being no contact with her family and he understood completely. "Has your family every tried to contact you?"

Karis shrugged. "Not sure. I blocked them on everything. I haven't seen them since I ran away when I turned eighteen. I think it's because I don't really go anywhere besides my suite then back home."

"Ah, I see." Taylor said.

"My best friend's family is all my daughter and I need. They're very laid back and drama free." Karis said. "I'll introduce you to them one of these days once I let my guard completely down."

Taylor chuckled. "Well, I can't wait."

Killian rubbed his eyes as he looked at the ring app on his phone. It was currently three in the morning and somebody was ringing his bell like crazy. "What the fuck?" He said when he saw that it was Arissa. "Girl, why are you at my door?"

Arissa squinted her eyes at the camera when she realized Killian was talking through it. "I've been trying to reach you, but you blocked me."

"Because you kept blowing up my shit when I told you that I don't any parts." Killian replied. "Go home. It's three in the morning."

"No, I want you." Arissa begged.

"Arissa, get away from my door before I call the police. It's too late for this shit. I have to be at work in a few hours—damn!" Killian snapped. Arissa punched the camera, causing it to crack which pissed Killian off. He got up from his bed and went to his door and opened it. Arissa was still standing there with an angry expression on her face. "You got me fucked up." He told her.
