Karis💗: are you coming to Big Mama's for dinner tomorrow? she's been asking about you.
Taylor rolled his eyes as he placed his phone back on the kitchen counter and continued to listen to Vale talking about her week at work. It's been almost a month and Taylor has been keeping his distance. It was tearing Karis apart, but he did not care. She did not value his feelings in the situation so why should he value her's?
"Why'd you make that face? Who was that?" Vale asked as she checked on the food cooking on the stove.
"Karis." Taylor mumbled.
"Oh—is there something wrong?" Vale asked with concern. She loved Karis and did not want them to break up.
"It's just an obstacle in the relationship." Taylor said. He did not want to explain the issue because he didn't want Vale to feel a certain way about Karis. It'll just cause more issues.
"Okay, but if you need to talk then I'm here." Vale told him.
Taylor smiled. "Thanks, mama."
Karis💗: I'm sick of the silent treatment.. fucking talk to me! you're really going to ignore Big Mama's request???
"I'm about to make a phone call. I'll be back." Taylor said to Vale as he got up from the barstool. He went to the living room and called Big Mama. He got her number at the second Sunday dinner he attended.
"Taylor, baby! I haven't seen you in so long!" Big Mama said once she answered the phone.
Taylor chuckled. "Hey, Big Mama. Sorry for going MIA. I heard you are looking forward to seeing me tomorrow."
"Yes, you need to be here." Big Mama told him. "I aint taking no for an answer."
"So I have no choice, huh?" Taylor said.
"No, you don't. I'll see you tomorrow."
"Aight, Big Mama. See you then." Taylor said with a laugh.

Karis' eyes lit up when she saw Taylor walk in. He looked so good wearing his red Nike sweatsuit with a pair of red and white ones. His hair was freshly cut and his beard was lined up nicely. He was definitely looking like a full course meal and Karis wanted to attack him sexually.
Taylor went around and greeted everyone with hugs except for Karis and Killian. They received dry ass hey's which amused Killian and hurt Karis' feelings. Everyone caught on but didn't say anything.

Jaxon looked at her and shook his head. He mouthed out "not yet". Kennedi rolled her eyes and waved him off.
"Okay, y'all. Let's go eat." Big Mama said.
Everyone gathered in the dining room and sat in their normal seats. Karis felt sad and awkward sitting next to Taylor since he wasn't talking to her.
"Taylor, what you been up to?" Amaru asked.
"Just work. I picked up a side gig at a gym being a personal trainer since I have some more time on my hands." Taylor said.
Karis abruptly got up from the table and stormed out of the dining room. "What the hell?" Arman mumbled.
Killian got up and went to check on Karis. He found her in the bathroom crying as she wiped her tears. "Don't cry over that bitch ass nigga." Killian told her.
