"My oldest two are driving me fucking crazy, Mya!" Heather yelled. "Killian has been living on the edge these past few months, and now Chance is out of jail trying to get in touch with Micah! Amaru is trying to tell me not to worry, but I can't help it! This shit is stressing me out!"
"Heather, you need to calm down. I know it's stressful, but you can't get worked up like this." Mya told her.
Heather took a deep breath as she began to cry. "I'm fucking pregnant, Mya."
"Bitch, what?!" Mya exclaimed. "Amaru's soldiers still marching?!"
"Yes!" Heather sniffled. "Lennox is grown as fuck and I'm damn pregnant."
"Did you tell anyone?" Mya asked.
Heather shook her head. "No, just you."
"You have to tell Amaru, girl!" Mya told her.
"I know—I will. I just took the test today." Heather sighed. "What am I gonna do with a baby at damn near fifty?"
"The same thing you did with the other babies, and Auntie Mya is gonna spoil that baby." Mya said, rubbing her belly. "We got you, Heather. Go ahead and tell Amaru—you can't wait much longer."
Heather nodded and agreed. She was stressed out and did not know how to handle it. Who knew after your children became adults you would still worry about their health and wellbeing?
"Mommy!" Kennedi yelled as she walked into the house with bags of groceries in her hands. "Oh, hey auntie! I knew I saw your car out there."
"Hey Ken Bug." Heather said.
"I got the groceries to fix dinner for daddy when he gets back." Kennedi said as she walked to the kitchen.
Kennedi was a certified daddy's girl and she always fixed dinner for him when he went out of town for work. Shakur was in Jackson and would be arriving soon.
"Lord, this girl loves her daddy." Mya mumbled. "He wasn't even gone for a full day."
Heather giggled. "That's her daddy."
"Yeah, and they both irk me." Mya replied.

Zuri and Jasmine laughed loudly as they ran away from Taylor who was throwing snowballs at them. Karis began to record them and laughed when Taylor got Zuri right in the back of her head. Jasmine ended up tripping in the snow and landed face first, causing everyone to gasp. Once Jasmine rolled over and started laughing, they all joined in with the laughter.
"Okay, y'all. Let's go inside and get warm." Karis told them.
They all walked into the house and Taylor began to make homemade hot chocolate for the girls and hot tea for him and Karis while she got the girls washed up and in pajamas. They were out of school due to the snow and have been spending time with each other ever since. Zuri was at Jasmine's house last night and they went back to Karis' house.
"Taylor, can you help us make a snowman tomorrow?" Zuri asked as they entered the kitchen.
"Yeah, that's cool." Taylor replied as he set their mugs of hot chocolate on the table with marshmallows and whipped cream.
Karis was happy that Taylor was so good with kids. Seeing him interact with Zuri and Jasmine made her want to have his child so she could see how he would bond with the baby.
"Cousin Taylor makes the best hot chocolate." Jasmine told Zuri as she grabbed the whipped cream.
"Is it better than Starbucks?" Zuri asked. "I only had hot chocolate from there."
