Killian called Karis' phone and it went to voicemail. "Oh hell no." He mumbled as he called again, making it ring this time.
"Hello?" Karis said once she picked up.
"Since when we started putting our phones on do not disturb?" Killian asked.
"Sorry, Ken kept blowing up my phone with questions and I couldn't take it anymore." Karis replied.
"Mhmm, I heard you met a guy." Killian said.
"Uhh, yeah. His name is Taylor." Karis said. "He's a pretty nice guy from what I can see."
"Nice guy, huh?" Killian questioned. "Nice enough for you to invite him to Big Mama's tomorrow?"
"Not so soon, Kill. I just met the guy twelve hours ago." Karis told him. "And we only had sex—who knows? He just might be my sneaky link and family does not meet sneaky links."

"We went to his place last night and he got me an Uber this morning." Karis said.
Killian scoffed. "An Uber? How tacky and low class. If he was a true gentleman then he would've gotten you a Lyft."
