Chapter 77 - Struggle

(Author's Note: Hello there, everyone! Here we are with yet another chapter of The Steam Powered Hero! *applause*. We finally had a new chapter, well... not yet exactly since the official scans aren't out there yet, but it's not like we're using the whole manga to write a chapter, just knowing what happens is enough for me to avoid making any mistakes. After the little 'heart to heart' chat between the newly made bros, even though Bakugo would never admit that Flyboy is the only person he can trust when it comes to that kind of stuff, it's a good start, the two returned to their classmates, but now they weren't around Midoriya's room anymore, the Pro Heroes wanted to have a chat about some important stuff, including One For All and All For One, so it only makes sense to leave them be for now.

Seeing Kaito hasn't really recovered, none of them were, really, Iida insisted the two returned to their rooms, and it's not like Kyoka is gonna let her idiot running around in that state. And yet, there was still something none of his classmates had addressed yet. Kaito could feel that somehow, the feeling of something not being right, out of place... Of someone missing. He couldn't shake that feeling off his chest, it was like it was suffocating him, a sensation of something heavy weighing him down.

"Kyoka..." He said as he sat down on his bed. He looked down, with a worried grimace. It was a blessing to see his friends doing ok, but even with that, the feeling wouldn't go away.

"You ok?" She sat by his side, her hand reaching his. An act of affection, trying to reassure her boyfriend, seeing that expression it was the right thing to do.

"You didn't tell me everything, did you?" He asked, still looking down.

Kyoka sighed, thinking about the situation. She didn't knew if she should simply tell the truth right now, or to hold it for later.

"Well...-"

As she was about to speak, she was cut out by the room's door opening. Three of their classmates were at the door, Kirishima, Ashido and Yaoyorozu.

"Here they are..." Said Kirishima, opening the door.

"Atsuhito!" Ashido hopped over, clearly happy to see her classmate, and to see her favorite ship sailing in front of her face.

"It's good to see you, Atsuhito." Added Yaoyorozu.

"Glad to see you girls too!" He beamed.

"How's our favorite Steam Powered Rocket doing?"

"I guess I'm doing fine." He looked down at the patched wounds. "It's just a guess though. They told me those Nomu turned me into Narancia from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure."

"I-I see..." Ashido awkwardly smiled.

Kaito could see it in her face, in all of their faces, something wasn't right.

"We just checked on Shoto and Endeavor. They're both recovering from their wounds." Said Yaoyorozu. "The same goes for Mr. Aizawa. Although he was gravely injured."

"I'm sorry, guys..." Kaito spoke up. "But what are you hiding from me?"

That caught them by surprise.

"Hiding?" Kyoka questioned. "What are you talking about, Kaito?" But she isn't a good liar.

Kaito looked into her eyes.
