Chapter 40 - Moving Into Dorms

(Author's Note: Hello there, everyone! So, here we are, another arc done, those last chapters were really fun to write, I'm glad I came up with creative ways to keep it exciting. Now we're about to start one of my favorite arcs, The Hero Provisional License Exam arc, starting off with a somewhat of a filler, sadly, can't wait to get to the good part. I hope you enjoy it! Later that night, after leaving Bakugo at a Police Station, the rescue team finally went home. As you would imagine, All Might's fight with All For One was all over the media, that night raised a lot of questions for Kaito. What happens now that the Symbol of Peace retired? He was curious, and needed answers. After a deserved rest, the first thing he does is take notes of everything of interest hi might've heard, writing down every bit of information he remembered. All For One, multiple quirks, a possible battle between the same villain against All Might five years ago. After taking care of that, Kaito got the assistance of the World's Greatest Hero, Google. For hours he looked up whatever he could find, to no avail, not much information going around, about either the villain or his associates, a few articles mentioned disappearances, kidnappings and quirks being seemingly "lost", but nothing solid.

"That villain was too powerful to have literally no information." He pondered for a second, looking at the ceiling. "Maybe there's something being covered here? Hmm..."

The doorbell rang, breaking the silence in the room, he run down to see what's happening, his mother had a letter at hand.

"What is it?" He questioned.

"A letter from U.A High. Something about a Dorm System? They want to move classes to dormitories." She replied, still reading the letter.

"Sweet!"

"Yeah? I'll think about it."

"Think about it? What do you mean?"

"Looks like your teacher is coming here tomorrow to talk about this."

"Mr. Aizawa? This will be interesting."

~The Next Day~

Kaito anxiously walked back and forth around in circles.

"Kaito... you're gonna make a hole on the ground."

"Sorry."

Once again the doorbell rung, Kaito peeped out, it was the one and only Eraserhead.

"Yo, it's him." Kaito opened the door.
"Sup, Mr. Aizawa. Come in!"

"Excuse me."

"It's about the dormitories, yes?"

"Yes. As the letter said, U.A High is introducing a dorm system." Aizawa began explaining. "We believe that would keep our students safe from further harm that may come our way. With the students close by, the risks greatly decrease, as well as it keeps them safe from being hunted down by villains."

Ms. Atsuhito looked thoughtful for a second, then spoke up.

"I can't say that I'm completely in favor of the idea." She pondered for a second before continuing. "Since the beginning of the year the school has been through a lot of trouble, and it doesn't seem like it's gonna stop now. Seems like an unnecessary risk to send Kaito back. If the school keeps being targeted it would be better to just send him to another school."

"Mom, it's U.A we're talking about here." Kaito returns from the kitchen, puts down a tray with coffee on the table. "A lot of kids only dream of getting in, I was blessed with this opportunity."
