Chapter 37 - What A Twist!

(Author's note: I'm not gonna sugarcoat this one people, this chapter is kind of ass, at least in my opinion, you guys should be the judges of that. I dunno what's got into me, maybe it was the timeline of events that made it kind of weird to write, I dunno. I hope y'all like it anyways, good read, I guess. Kisses!)

It's on! Kaito blasts the winged villain from afar with his steam. The villain has insane agility and speed, he easily dodged all of the attacks without breaking a sweat, using the trees as cover.

"You're gonna have to be faster than that, son. Speed is life!" Havoc taunted.

"Grrr! Stupid insect!"

The Steam Powered Hero changed his strategy, closing in, hoping that the villain isn't as skilled in hand to hand combat. Big mistake. He's actually a ninja too. Defending himself like a pro. He suddenly disappeared in the darkness, flying out of Kaito's sight.

"Nice try. But that won't work on me!" As the villain spoke he reappeared out of nowhere.

"He's fast!" Kaito braced himself for the impact. The villain hits him with a powerful kick, sending him crashing on a nearby tree. Without wasting any time he went for the kill, winding up to deliver a final punch. Kaito was still dazed from the impact, dodging the attack in the nick of time. Havoc's fist broke a good chunk of the tree, centimeters from the student's face. Kaito rolled out of the dangerous spot, once again blasting the villain, again, not very effective since he can dodge pretty much everything.

"Damn it! This guy has no weakness?" He thought.

"Listen. We discovered one of the villains targets. It's a student named 'Kacchan'"

"Bakugo? What do they want with him?"

"Kacchan, you should try to avoid combat and stick to a group. I hope you can hear me."

"Looks like you recieved Intel on our plan."

"What do you guys want with him anyway?"

"C'mon now. This isn't some kind of movie where the villains reveals their evil plans, is it?" Havoc noticed that Kaito was now huffing. "What's the matter? Running out of steam?"

"I'm not done yet! If you think you can just ruin my class's Summer Camp and kidnap one of my friends you got another thing coming! You'll pay with your blood." Kaito stopped to think about what he just said. "That was cheesy."

"My God. Could you be more cheesy?"

They dashed forward, getting back right into the fight. This time, Kaito opted for his agility to try and stop the villain's nimble movements. Clashing, almost in a Dragon Ball style.

"You seriously think you can out-fly me? The skies belong to me, son!"

"Villain, please. You're just a weaker version of Hawks!"

That did piss Havoc right off. Which made him open his guard for a second, giving Kaito the opportunity to get a solid hit in, a punch right to the villain's face. The metal mask absorbed most of the impact though, but it was a solid hit nonetheless, Havoc was visibly stunned.

"Haha! What about that, huh?" Kaito closed in to continue his attack, going in for another punch. This time, surprise! Didn't work! It was really telegraphed. Havoc grabbed his fist.

"I don't think so!"

Kaito goes for another punch with his other arm. Havoc grabs his fist again.

"Should've went for a Point Blank Steam blast."
