"Steampunk is the hero who never backs down!" Kaito recalled his childhood once again. As he used to play Hero, like practically every child of the same age, it was natural for them to make friends through that, as it was natural for Bakugo and Midoriya to do the same. The three used to collect hero cards.
"So what if my quirk isn't flashy! I'll just find a thousand ways to use it!" He declared, doing an heroic pose.
"That's right!" Young Midoriya joined.
"I wonder if young me would be proud of how far I've come." He thought to himself, as the scene played on his mind.

The hero stared down at the villain. The bladed sphere rotating at incredibly high speeds, slicing through the air, making a sharp, scary, whistling sound as it did.
"Still fighting, are you? Kaito Atsuhito?" Said Shigaraki. "How many times do I have to put you down?"
"Oh, you're in for a treat! I'm not going down that easily!" Barked back the hero.
"While I won't dispute that, you're nothing but a pebble in the way of my plans..." Shigaraki backed off at the direction of the fallen Bakugo. He disrespectfully stepped on his head. "Izuku Midoriya was supposed to be here, wasn't he? I'm aware the both of you are close friends as well, right? So he's bound to show up!"
