Chapter 53 - For A Brighter Future

(Author's Note: Hello there, everyone! So, as you guys probably know, the next arc we're going to be covering is very Gentle, nothing too exciting happens, and this arc also covers a lot of thing happening everywhere from different points of view. So, to keep it simple, the next chapters will probably take more time to write, I'll try to keep the uploads consistent but don't expect much, I want to keep everything fluid and coherent with the current events, so I'm gonna be extra careful to not fuck something up. The room is filled with steam from the attack, Kaito kneels down, huffing from all the energy he just used to defend the villain that is now knocked out at last, the ground below him is cracked, that was one helluva punch.

"I haven't used that much energy since the USJ raid. Hatsume's gauntlets endured the attack." He checked his support items. "Great. Oh yeah, almost forgot!" He reached for the bottle of water Fat Gum gave him before the raid. He quickly drank it, feeling much better.

Kaito glanced around the room, the steam was clearing the view. He saw Chrono with a blade, about to stab the downed Aizawa.

"Don't move!" The villain yelled.

"Woah! It's over Chrono!" Kaito aimed both hands to the villain, ready to attack. "Put it down!"

"It's not over yet! I won't let Chisaki down!" Chrono goes for a stab.

Kaito tried to fire his steam, but he's still in "cooldown" from the last attack, so he aimed a steam rocket instead.

"This might hit Mr. Aizawa but I don't have a choice!"

As he got ready to fire, Chrono was stabbed on the arm holding the knife by a swordfish...a swordfish?

"You're Chrono right?" Suneater did the thing, he was at the door with police officers and Mirio. "I know how your quirk works, so don't even try to use it on me. Take him!" He ordered the officers. "Steampunk?" He noticed the Steam Powered Hero.

"Suneater?" Kaito lets out a relieved sigh. "Thank goodness. Hey, Tamaki."

"Suneater!" Another voice called, coming from the corridor, Kaito recognized it, it was Tsuyu. "I'm glad he's ok!"

"Froppy? What's happening?"

"Deku is fighting."

Kaito ran up to them after hearing that.

"Wait, that's Midoriya's fighting?" He dashed off. "You guys can handle this, right?"

"Wait, where are you going?"

"You're in no condition to fight!"

"I can do this!"

Kaito dashed through the halls, looking for his the exit, eager to help his friend. When he finally arrived at the battle, it was already over. Midoriya had defeated Chisaki, but something strange was happening, Eri was on his back, she had yellow energy flowing from her body, her quirk was going out of control.

"Mido-" Kaito stepped forward to help, but Tsuyu held his arm with her tongue. He turned to see her, she was carrying Mr. Aizawa. One look from his quirk and the little girl stopped, falling unconscious, it's over.

"Oof. That was intense." Kaito sat down, catching his breath. "Good job, everyone!"

"We have a lot of seriously injured people here! We need ambulances, quick!" Ryukyu yelled out commands. "Check to see if we didn't miss any victims! The League Of Villains may still be nearby! Search for them!"
