🎥 HEROES RISING! Part 2 🎥

"A hero? This far away? It's just a kid, though..." Slice stepped forward. "Too young to be a hero."

"He won't get in the way of my dream. Finish this quickly before it escalates to a serious problem."

"There were four of them..." Kaito assumed his battle stance, looking around the buildings for any bystanders. The streets seem to be clear. "I have to stall for time, the others will be there soon... I hope. Mind telling me what you're doing here? You're not in vacation I'd imagine?"

"We're looking for something." Nine answered. "A quirk, which will help me shape a new society."

"A new society you say? It's not like I heard the same thing from other villains in the past. What makes you different from them? Are you one of those Stain fanboys of the League?"

"Don't compare us with those amateurs of the League!" Slice growled.

"So they're not with the League? At least that's on our side."

"You're still young. You still have a lot of potential..." Nine continued. "Join me and help me make my dream a reality. We can create a society where villains and heroes don't matter. Only the most powerful shall rule."

"Hmm..." Kaito scratched his head, tapping his foot. "Not a bad offer, but there's still a problem. I've been training hard for the past year to become a great hero, so... I'm gonna have to pass."

"...I see. Deal with him."

"With pleasure."

Slice's hair hardened, forming sharp blades. As if this wasn't enough she still has two sharp claws at her disposal.

"What's with me and chicks with hair quirks?"

The villain ran forward, closing in for close combat. Too bad for her, Steampunk is a skilled long distance fighter, and if needed, he can close in to finish the job.

He simply avoided her hair blades attacks by staying far away and in the air.

"Her quirk looks easy to avoid. Specially now that I've had experience with this type of quirk."

"You think you can avoid me forever?" Suddenly, Slice fired off her hair as sharp needles, a ton of them.

"Oh shoot!" Kaito dodged most of them, most. Some of the needles managed to hit him in non vital areas and his equipment.

He then blasted off in a circular motion around the villain while firing off weaker blasts of steam to test Slice's defensive capabilities.

"Pathetic! Is that all you've got?" Slice mocked.

Kaito smirked, landing back on the ground. He thrusted both hands forward, palms facing the villain.

"Steam Powered Cannon!"

A huge blast of steam, too strong for Slice to block, even with her quirk. She had no choice but to get out of the path of the attack, up in on a building.

That's when she fell on the hero's trap. The attack was never meant for her, but for the second villain who was standing around. Nine blocked the attack with a air wall, disappearing inside the Steam Cannon.

"Nine!?" Slice turned her attention away from the hero for one second. "You little!" She attacked where Kaito was, but when the steam cleared, he was no longer there. "What?"

"Shouldn't let your guard down!" Steampunk appeared from the steam cloud to Nine's side, avoiding the range of the villains shield. He got ready to deliver a Steam Powered Rocket Punch to the villain's face, when with his free hand Nine blocked the attack.
