Chapter 13 - Trouble in U.S.J - Part III

"Don't get full of yourselves!"

"We'll kill you! Stupid kids!"

The villains jumped at the two students. Tokoyami and Kaito were fighting back to back, protecting each other at the same time as they took care of the villains.

They began popping off, easily taking care of their foes. Kaito blasted off the villains from afar with his steam, as well as he used his steam powered elbow rocket to deliver powerful punches. He used his steam to boost up and knee one of the villains on the chin.

"See dat?" He continued blasting.

"Yeah. Nice moves." Tokoyami complimented.

Their style and flow in battle is impeccable like a sword and shield, the villains have no chance to even get close. Soon the villains numbers were reduced to a few of them laying on the ground, groaning in pain, the others unconscious.

Suddenly, the ground seemed to shake, they looked around and saw a large rhino-looking villain approaching.

"So you two took care of this many of us? Impressive. You two are dangerous, I must kill you both!" The villain tilted his head forward and charged.

"Oh boy. He's fast." Kaito booped Tokoyami out of the way while boosting himself out of harm's way.

"Dark shadow!" Tokoyami quickly recovered and attacked. The villain managed to stop dark shadow, holding him down.

"Tokoyami! This guy is strong! Back Dark Shadow off!"

"I'm trying!"

"How about this!" Kaito blasted the villain on the face, making him release Dark Shadow, who then uppercuts the villain, making him stumble.

"Ha! Not strong enough!" The villain mocked.

"Damn it. Any ideas?" Tokoyami questioned.

"Well, yeah. But..."

"But what?"

"This is a one off. If it doesn't work I'll become pretty much useless for a while."

"Considering the circumstances. We don't have much choice."

"Alright. I need you to buy me some time."

"Consider it done. Dark Shadow!"

Tokoyami and Dark Shadow distracted the villain as Kaito changed a configuration on his right gauntlet.

The villain got a lucky hit, sending Tokoyami dragging his feet on the ground.

"Alright! Hey you!" Kaito called the villain. "It's over for you big boy!" Kaito had the right gauntlet's elbow rocket booster fully charged, actually, overloaded.

"Don't make me laugh kid, you can't defeat me!"

"Hit it! Tokoyami!"

Tokoyami's Dark Shadow punched the villain with giant fists, sending him flying in Kaito's direction!

"Take that!" Kaito punched the villain square on the face in a downwards punch, cracking his gauntlet and creating a small impact crater on the ground. Kaito fell on his back, smiling.

"That's what you get! That's what you get man...Ouch, my arm..."

Tokoyami quickly ran up to him.
"Atsuhito! Are you okay?" The birb helped him up.

"Yeah, I'm fine. He on the other hand isn't." Kaito pointed to the villain, now knocked out, laughing.

Tokoyami smiled by his reaction.
"What was that?" He asked.

"Oh that, my friend, was one of my finishing moves. It doesn't have a name yet, I'm open for suggestions. I won't be able to fight for a couple of minutes, I used all the steam my body has gathered and launched in a single punch."

"Your injured your fist." Tokoyami pointed out.

"Yeah... Looks like I need to update my gauntlets. They weren't ready for that kind of power. Noted for the support course." Kaito ripped one of his shirt's sleeve and wrapped his fist. "Now let's see..."

Kaito looked around and found one of the villains waking up. He ran up to the villain and aimed his left hand to his face.

"Give me a reason to let my friend's shadow tear you apart..."

"No! Please don't!" The villain begged.

"Now. Start telling us why are you here, who sent you, and what's your mission?"

"We-we're just cheap mercenaries! We don't even know who the boss is! They sent us to kill All Might!"

"To kill All Might?!" Tokoyami grabbed the villain by his shirt collar. "How? You better start making sense!"

Suddenly, the ground started shaking, followed by a loud sound resembling an explosion. Both students looked around, worried.

"We gotta find our classmates. Come on!" Kaito leads the way.

The two ran out of the simulation environment. Took them a while to find the exit in the maze of buildings. As they stepped out, they quickly found their classmates still at the entrance stairs.

"Look! It's Tokoyami and Atsuhito!" Uraraka pointed out. "Hey! You guys okay?"

"Yeah, we're alright. Just a few scratches. What happened here? We heard a loud bang, almost like an explosion."

"All Might just took out that buff bird villain. Wicked cool!" Mineta explained.

"What? All Might is here?"

The class explained what happened. After that, Iida bursted through the door, bringing with him various pro heroes.

"Uraraka...Where's Ji-" Before Kaito could finish...

"Your class rep has returned! I've fulfilled my duty! And I have brought reinforcements!"

"Iida!"

"It's over... It's finally over. We did it!" Kaito cheered.
