Well, yes, but actually no. For those of you who noticed a little message at the very end of the chapter, basically the post credits, it's not over until it's over!

I am here to bring you REFURBISHED, the official conclusion to THE STEAM POWERED HERO!

This arc will be very special, as it will be mostly things from my own mind, not following anything in particular from the manga, an entirely new arc created and written by yours truly, so I'll have lots of freedom to do whatever I want without fear!

And trust me... I AM GOING TO BRING THE HEAT WITH THIS ONE🗣🔥🔥🔥🔥

"If left unchecked, I believe quirks can undoubtedly bring about the end of the world as we see it today." Said a man with a regular human body but the head of an Owl. Wearing a fancy blue suit with red tie. He was in an interview for a famous TV show, airing all around the world.

"You really think so?" Questioned the hostess, black woman, long dark hair, beautiful red dress. "What leads you to believe that, Professor?"

The professor continued.

"Quirks have been getting more complicated, more complex, stronger, with each passing generation. We barely scrached the surface about them. They're always evolving. As quirks combine and create something new, stronger, more powerful quirks are created as a result. I estimate that within 5 to 10 generations from now, quirks will be so powerful that their own users won't be able to control them properly."

He gestured as he spoke, then intensely looked at the crowd, watching closely his explanation.

"The disaster in Japan two weeks ago is an example. Tomura Shigaraki's quirk is an example of a quirk so powerful that even if we wanted to contain it, we might not be able to. If a quirk like that were to mix with another to create something even more powerful. Could you imagine? Even an evolution of the result of such a potent mix? We can't even begin to imagine it."

"You mean that the result of powerful quirk genes combining with time could have catastrophic results?" Questioned the host again.

"Not necessarily powerful. Even quirks that may seem harmless by themselves but when combined with others could result in something powerful."

Bakugo, who watched the show by himself, looked at his hands, knowing that what the professor said was exactly what happened to him. A combination of two "weak" quirks resulting in a very explosive quirk.
