Steam Powered Hero - REFURBISHED - Part 4

Hello there, everyone!

Sorry for taking so long to upload, AGAIN!

Writer's block SUCKS, and I think I got hit by a Super Saiyan version of writer's block where I couldn't write a single word without falling asleep.

I'm just tired I guess, I've been doing this for 6 years now, without counting all the years I spent as an original author, but that's a story for another day.

We're back again with Refurbished, and by the looks of it, this is a chapter you've all been looking forward to write since I began writing this arc. Well, here it is!

I just hope I managed to deliver and it is as epic as all of you wish to be. I won't be delaying you any more now.

The air around grew dense with the intensity filling that street. The few bystanders around courageous, or maybe just curious, enough to watch wondered what that was all about.

Midoriya glanced around, keeping in mind the civilians he now had to keep safe from the mysterious villain, who still glared back behind menacing dark goggles.

"Who are you? What do you want?!" Questioned the hero. "Surely you don't work for All For One, right? It's over!"

And still the villain didn't respond. Instead, he quickly grabbed from behind his back a pistol, aiming at the hero, who quickly used his gauntlet's shield to protect himself from the multiple bullets fired. That was enough to send everyone around running, one less thing to worry about.

The bullets ricochet up, down, everywhere, luckily nowhere close to anyone, as the villain marched forward, as did Deku.

Dashing forward with his shield raised, Midoriya concealed his movement, as he threw a sidekick once the villain was close enough, surprising him as he ducked in the last second. Deku then followed up with another kick, this time aimed for his hand, knocking the pistol away from his grasp.

Midoriya then followed with a combination of attacks. Kicks, punches, leaving no room for the villain to counterattack.

When finally, as the hero aimed to throw another punch, the villain responded by grabbing his fist, easily stopping his momentum.

"Grgh!" Midoriya increase the strength behind his fist, but it didn't move even a little. He then used the shield to throw another, shield-assisted punch.

The villain grabbed the edge of the shield with his mechanical arm, sinking his mechanical fingers in, easily damaging the metal, and then pulled the shield backwards, completely disconnecting it from Midoriya's gauntlet.

With his arm shieldless now, he aimed to throw another punch, which was easily deflected by the mechanical arm, while the villain followed with a reach to his throat. Midoriya quickly thought of a way to free himself by pushing the villain away with both legs and a stylish backflip, making some distance between the two.
