Chapter 46 - A Season for Encounters

(Author's Note: Hello there, everyone! Sorry for the delay, I've been kinda busy lately, family and school stuff and whatnot, so I haven't had too much time to write as I usually do, so this will be a shorter chapter I hope you guys understand, sorry about that! After they returned to the dorms, Kaito was quick to return to his room using his quirk to fly, he doesn't want to deal with a angry Aizawa as he didn't even break any rules besides going out at night. The next morning everything was back to normal, besides the fact that Midoriya and Bakugo were now cleaning the common area of the dorm. The class was surprised to learn that the two have fought the night before. They all had a disapproving comment to add.

Kirishima noted that Kaito wasn't shocked at all with the news.

"You knew about this?" He asked.

"Uh-hum...don't worry, it was nothing too serious, trust me." Kaito began making his way out the dorm, not paying any mind to the situation.

After that, class A headed to the main campus, where the classes would gather for the Opening Ceremony. As they walked down the hallway leading to the field where the ceremony would take place, out of nowhere jumped in a blond, short haired, smug looking student, stopping them, he then spoke up.

"I heard a little rumor about class A." He held his hand with two fingers out. "Two people! You had two people fail the licensing exam! You losers!"

"Monoma, from class B?" Said Sero.

Kaito groaned, annoyed.

"Not this dude again."

Kirishima perked up.

"I bet you were the only one in your class to fail! Just like in the finals, huh?" He accused.

Monoma laughed then turned his back to them.

"That wasn't an answer!"

"Heh, actually." Monoma did a pose besides his classmates. "Every one of us passed!" He declared. "We pulled ahead of you, big shots!"

Todoroki lets out a remark of how he messed up during the exams. Kaito, annoyed with the comments just walked off, joining another group of his classmates.

"When will we get the chance to kick this guy's ass?" He wondered. "It's getting annoying."

"Don't let him get in your head." Said Jiro, patting his back. "You'll get your chance." She assured.

"When did this 'rivalry' started anyway?" Kaito asked, trying to remember a situation where they acted superior to anyone.

"He's just crazy if you ask me." Said Tokoyami.

"Sounds about right." Sero agreed.

"Hey! We're trying to get through, back here!" Someone voiced their annoyance with both classes tomfoolery clogging the path to the ceremony.

"Our apologies!" Iida replied politely. "Come on, everyone! Save your chitchat for later! We're clogging up the hallway!"

"I honestly can't believe how uncool you are." The annoyed voice was Shinso, along with his class. Class A remembered him from the Sports Festival. Different from when he fought in the Festival, he looks a little more buffed.
