"Every spot has been filled! 100 students will advance! The end is finally here!" The announcer spoke, enthusiastically, soon he can have his long awaited rest. "Unfortunately, those of you who failed will have to withdraw from the licensing exam, please leave the area immediately."
Kaito and the rest of class A that just passed the test finally join the others in the Ante Room. There they were warmly welcomed by their classmates with cheers.
"There they are!" Kirishima pointed out. "Man I'm glad you guys made it!" He greeted Kaito with a high five.
"Our whole class passed?" Kaito looked around, they were all here. "Awesome!"
"There wasn't ever any doubt." Sero added. "We're awesome!"
They cheered together, chanting "Class 1-A", jumping around.
Kaito spotted Midoriya.
"Glad to see you here, future hero."
"Glad to see you too, Atsuhito." He smiled.
"You had us worried for a second!" Uraraka added.
"Heh. You know me." Kaito rubbed his nape, grinning. "I like to keep things exciting!"
He noticed Bakugo angrily glaring in the background. He simply greeted the explosion boy with a thumbs up. Bakugo huffed in response.
"You had too much trouble?" Uraraka asked.
"Well, you know. Nothing we couldn't manage. Mineta and Ojiro helped a lot. And when twinkling boy helped..." Kaito pointed with his thumb over his shoulder, Aoyama, making poses with his Cape. "...We made it."
Finally, the announcer returned to with the instructions for the second, and final, round.
"Alright. For the hundred of you who passed the first test, please direct your attention to the screen."
They did as he told, and closely paid attention to the screen.
"The testing grounds?" Kaito raised his goggles to take a better look. "What of it?"
"What happens next?" Uraraka added.
Explosions, that's what happens. The entire testing ground goes up with localized explosions, turning the multiple different environments into a huge mess of rubbles and debris. The scenario brings bad memories.
"There's only one more round." The announcer continued. "Your goal is simple; undertake rescue exercises and save bystanders who are trapped in these disaster sites."
"Now there's a good twist." Said Kaito. Midoriya and Uraraka nodded in agreement.
"Use this to show us how you're going to carry out successful rescue operations once you receive your Provisional licenses. Treat as though it were the real thing."
"Look, on the screen." Shoji pointed out.
A bunch of children and elders appeared in the middle of the testing grounds.
"Huh? Little kids and old people?" Sato was horrified. "That's so dangerous!"
"Why are they here?" Mineta wondered what they all wondered.
"Introducing, the Help Us Company. Also known as HUC for short."
"Huh. Yet another acronym."
"So, they're actors I guess?" Sero questioned.
"It's the kind of job you never think about." Said Tsu.
"But a necessary one in our world." Ojiro added. "Since they support our hero training."
