May's POV:

I am currently sulking on the bench here in the track 'n field watching some students running on the tracks. I blew my hair when I saw Ash among them and he even waved at me with a grin that I could recognize he's nearly going to be fatigued soon.

"Oh, Ash... What made you late today, I wonder??" I whispered to myself and smirking secretly about it then I crossed my arms and legs after turning my cap backwards.

"Senior, here!"

I saw Bonnie with her friend, Paige, and they have brought some marshmallows that I suddenly felt knowingly alive.

"We knew we could find you here, Senior... And we brought your favorite~" Paige said shyly before they sat next to me.

I was surprised that they brought me something all of a sudden and they sure know my favorite marshmallows!

"Wow! You brought me marshmallows but are you sure about this?? I mean, thank you for bringing your senior something edible~" I smiled geniunely.

I couldn't just deny it since they willingly brought them to me so I humbly accepted it and we ate together that I did not got bored of my work in supervising these late comers running tiresomely on the tracks and not to mention Ash is with them.

"So?"

"Are you sure about this??"

"I feel like I can't-"

I got this radar about something as Bonnie and Paige suddenly whispered with each other as I was already enjoying the marshmallows. They quietted when I looked at them and only grinned like that of a forced, mysterious smile.

"Do you want some more marshies??"

I only asked if so ever that was what they were whispering about but they smiled and shook their heads. Paige even averted her eyes from me and I got this strange feeling about something. Though I only continued eating since they said so and I brought my sight back to the runners.

"Oh... Finally~ They're done~"

I stood up and went to the runners who were catching their breaths. Some went to get some water and some only stood there on the tracks fanning themselves. They all look so worn-out and I mostly recognized Ash who stand out for having the most haggard look right now. He really isn't physically strong with this kind of activity although he sure is in high energy most of the time....

"Ah~ I can't feel my legs... But I did great, right? Yosh! Ah, I need my breath~ Inhale. Exhale. Inhale. Exhale~" I rolled my eyes from Ash and he gave me a thumb up in front of my face.

"I am gonna have endurance from this soon~ I promise! Being late isn't so bad at all." He said and he went to get his towel that his statement made me twitch an eyebrow and I followed my gaze to him.

"Did you just planned to be late today??"

He looked at me with one eye closed as he was cleaning his face with a towel while drinking from a water bottle. Ash's raven hair dropped when he poured himself the water over his head that surprised me and I did not contain my reaction.
