155- "Tears 😢 and Smiles 😄"

Dawn's POV:

After the surprise that was done for me, the program continued until the foods were served.

I already headed to the table where the band was and Ash added another chair for me to sit with them.

"Dawn, you're so beautiful than ever!" May exclaimed with her almost teary eyes before she threw herself to embrace me.

Meanwhile, I heard the sound of a shutter and that is when I recognized that Drew just happened to have taken a picture of me and May.

"Huh? Keyboard, what was that for??!" May reacted and snatched the camera from Drew before reviewing the photo.

"That's Ash's, Locket...." Drew said and May only glanced once before averting her eyes from him.

"It's not a good shot at all... Dawn wasn't looking at the camera... Anyways, we should all be in it..." May said and she held out the camera and asked the person who came pass by to take a picture of the four of us with Max.

"Okay... Smiiillleee!" The guy told us and I only smiled.

"Thanks a lot!" Ash and May told him right after.

Max excused himself when he said that he will go to the restroom leaving only the four of us on the table eating our food already. 

"Uhm..." I tried to speak up but I somehow got a bit nervous all of a sudden and it caught their attention.

I even recognized how Ash raised an eyebrow with his fork in his mouth.

"I.. Ah... I want to thank you all for coming here today..." I finally said in one go and I also already closed-lip smiled. "I'm really happy."

"Nah. Don't mention it. Of course we will be here no matter what. Right, you two?" Ash replied with a cheerful expression and he grinned next to me.

"We should be thanking you for inviting us.." I heard Drew who was on my other side and May crossed her arms and leaned on her seat parallel to mine.

"This is what friends are for, isn't it? Celebrating together. And this party is sure great, Dawn. You really should be happy. We're happy for you too that is." May said and she smiled.

Their words somewhat melted something inside me and I ended up thanking them for another time.

Some games were conducted during the mealtime and it was led by the MC before the rest of the program continued. The band even performed another song with me having to be the vocalist already.

When the party was closing to its end, I had a lot of people asking to take a picture with me and it sure felt like a lot of pressure. I am not even close with them to begin with.

"Pretty, pretty. You seem like you want to take a sit already now, Dawn~" May approached me after the last person who came to have a picture with me left and I was able to breathe and I went and embraced her.

"I don't even know why they have to come and ask to have a picture together, May. I feel so nervous. Even though I know my sister had a lot of effort in today's party, I just really feel so not used to this kind of big celebration." I told her and I let her go that she chuckled hearing me.
