130- "Restaurant On the Hilltop"

Drew's POV:

"You need to slow down a bit at this part of the measure. And make sure you don't confuse this part with this. Have you been practising well?" I stated as I met Nathaniel's gaze.

He stiffened his fingers on his lap and I noticed how he made that quick sigh before answering me.

"I'll play it perfectly this time, senior. Just listen~" He spoke before he took a deep breath upon pressing his fingers on the keys of the piano skipping them on one note to the other. 

I listened and I could see he's being serious with his playing this time than before and I also closed my eyes to keep track of his playing and the sound of the music.

Finally, he pressed the last note and I opened my eyes that met his gaze as if he intends to hear my critique for another time.

"Hm~ There are still flaws but I would consider it better than before. However, I advise you to practice this piece more. It is not an easy one afterall." I said and Nathaniel glanced at the music sheet before him.

"Let's call it a day~ Let's meet again this coming Monday... I will see if you have done better by then." I added and I walked to pick up my bag and I plugged in my earphones.

Nathaniel also kept the music sheets back in his bag and closed the piano before he excused himself.

After he left, I glanced at the piano before I walked out of the door of the music room and I locked it.

Right then, Ash and Locket came by and it seemed like they intently came to meet up with me.

"Drew, are you going home now??" Ash was the one who asked and he was carrying his guitar case on his back as usual.

I only nodded as a response that Ash encircled his arm around my shoulder and grinned mischievously.

"We're planning to visit Dawn right now. Remember that she will be discharged tonight? We have already told Cynthia that we should eat out tonight as a celebration for Dawn's discharge from the hospital~ Come with us!" Ash told me and Locket even gave me that look as if telling me not to decline.

"Where exactly?" I only asked as we started walking our way in the hallways.

"Cynthia was the one who picked the place... She only told us to meet them in the hospital and we'll go together there~" Ash replied and suddenly punched the air glinting an excited face. "Yosh! We should hurry up, you two~!"

He sprinted next that I had to ran after him with Locket following behind us. It so happen that the gray car mom sent to drive me home was already waiting so the three of us only rode in going to the hospital and I only called mom to tell her that I might return home late.

"May! Ash! Drew!"

Dawn greeted us firsthand when we saw them outside the hospital. She seemed to be really recovered and she also told us that she is really happy to be discharged already after three days that she regained her consciousness.

"So where will we be going, Cynthia?" Ash asked anticipating to hear where exactly we will head to.

"You'll know soon enough. You guys should follow us on the road...  Let's go, Dawn.."
