May's POV:
"Hm... How? How? How? How?"
I lowered my drumsticks when I heard Ash who is walking back and forth before the window of this club room of ours. He was looking bothered of something and the sight of him is distracting me from getting my beat and rhythm on the drums.
"Hey... What is all the uneasiness going on, Ash?? Hm~ Thinking about Dawn??" And I raised an interrogating eyebrow that Ash narrowed his gaze to me when he stopped his pace that made me to smirk at him before I sighed on my seat in front of the drums.
"Not that much~ I got another problem actually..." And Ash leaned by the window and fidgeted his fingers under his chin averting his eyes from me.
Something is going on for sure~ Or is there??
I hit the drums with my drumsticks and it even surprised Ash because I made sure it was sudden and loud.
"Hey, Drew! Glad you're back! What happened to the com-" Ash stepped aback before he could take another step towards Keyboard because this green-haired guy gave him a calm, cold look after suddenly entering the club room and he proceeded to the keyboard without speaking at all and sat there in a few moment of silence.
He just stared at the keys blankly for a few more seconds before we heard him play something.
The song was one of Yiruma's which is 'When The Love Falls'.
I did not speak anything anymore although my mouth would have gone blurting out words if ever. Ash who was getting uneasy earlier stood quietly and did not say anything too until Keyboard finished his instant solo rendition.
After he finished, Keyboard placed his palms on his lap and Ash suddenly surprised him by circling his arm around his neck and he grinned like a kid holding onto the visor of his cap.
"What was that for, Drew?" The raven-haired raised an eyebrow not letting Keyboard go that Keyboard closed his eyes and tried to take Ash's arm off of him but Ash did not let him go.
"Drew, how was your performance yesterday??" Ash insisted expecting to hear an answer and I butted in.
"Right... How did it go, Mister Keyboard??"
He eyed me before averting his gaze to Ash who was still grinning like a kid while his arm circles around him.
"Ash, get your arm off first..." We heard him that Ash was obedient enough and he walked inches away from Keyboard.
"So? How did it go? You won, right??" Ash asked excitedly and if his ears were rabbit ears, I could see them raising if ever.
Keyboard composed himself and crossed his arms before answering in a soft voice.
"It went well. I would be qualified to advance to a national level as what I was told or maybe reach the international levels as well. However-" Keyboard changed his expression and he only looked out of the window. "I declined continuing with the competitions~"
Ash literally jaw dropped after Keyboard's last statement.
"What? What is your reason?" I asked on the spot and Keyboard moved his gaze to me.
"The next schedules have conflicts on certain dates and I can't attend during those dates so I would rather not continue anymore. Don't worry. It was already negotiated and discussed so it is settled. I am already fine being able to win yesterday and even just until there... The higher ups already knows what to do with the end results... Besides, I have some news about the sixth music sheet..." Keyboard sat comfortably before speaking yet again as if keeping us from further delving in the topic why he won't continue on with the piano competition.
