May's POV:

"Ice cream is on you alright, Ash?" I told this raven-haired guy walking next to me here in the hallway.

He only looked at me with a visible wide grin and a quick thumbs up.

I only crossed my arms seeing that he's obviously in such a good mood as always.

Well, I think since we are done with the dance and the next thing we have to anticipate is summer vacation, it makes sense.

"AhH!"

"Who's that??!"

"Hey, look up there??"

"Ehh??"

"Hhuh?"

"Is that-"

Ash and I were caught up with the sudden commotion from outside and we only looked out of the window to see the students who were supposed to leave already but they were seemingly bothered by something which kept them from either moving or going their own ways.

After I traced my line of sight to whatever that hooked everyone's attention to, I myself was frozen in place before Ash drew closer to the window and peeked his sight outside as well and he was even in the midst of his lively whistling.

I took one deep breath before I sprinted my way out of the building already. Ash followed right behind me as fast as he could as well and we were both in a panic that I did not care whatever and whoever I was dodging on my way already.

We reached the open space outside the building and we anxiously brought our sights up there from the third floor terrace.

I wasn't mistaken, it's...

"DAAWWN!" Ash's worried voice silenced the terrified crowd around us who were also witnessing the scene from up there.

Dawn could be seen being held against her neck and pushed aback meant to fall from that height.

We couldn't see who she was with and our anxiety worsen when Dawn was finally let go and sent to fall from the terrace with her back the first thing we could see from below.

"Ah~!"

"Dawn!"

"YaHhH~!"

For another time in my life, I was glued on the sight of it. I felt these terrifying chills in my body and I watched her fall helplessly.

It was like a scene from a movie clip and I was just there standing in pure terror of the anticipation of what's to happen next. Death~ What more could I expect from a fall from that height and that position??

All of a sudden, the same guy who was next to me ran to attempt to catch Dawn from her fall not even thinking that it would be both dangerous for the two of them.

"Dawn!" Ash cried out with that bitter anxiety as it all happened in that short moment for all of us.

In a blink of an eye, Dawn was gone.

It was totally not anticipated for but she did not met her tragic fall on the ground and just vanished in the air.

Just then, I was taken back to my senses and I quickly ran to where Ash was and he is in a totally confused state.
