Dawn's POV:

"Woah~ This is really awesome! Now I am really convinced that you're really Dawn!"

I was flustered with what Ash just blurted out before he munched on the pancakes I served for him.

Does he like it that much??

"How is it?" I only asked and he stopped for a moment eyeing me with one eye.

"Did you make it?" He asked smirking as if he already knew the answer.

"E-eh~ Yeah... Sis and I made it earlier..."

"Cynthia is staying here too?? Woah~ No wonder we couldn't find you two... And we even asked where she worked in but they didn't told us anything~ What a harsh world... Well, how long have you been here?"

Ash just kept asking questions even when I just wished he could just keep quiet.

I composed myself and lowered my head.

"Do you really wanna know so badly?? But you already know what happened, right? That incident back in school when- Se-serena pushed me and I fell~" I started feeling uncomfortable as I was to tell it but my mouth seem to have uttered those words on its own.

Maybe I really wanted to tell about it to someone but I was just afraid~

When I glanced to Ash, he was already looking at me still continuing with his pancakes.

"Okay, go on~" He said even with his mouth so full.

He is like a kid~

"Well~ Uhm~ How do I start it??" I said not knowing now how I should tell him.

"It was a misunderstanding, I guess. Hatred~ Hurting~ It's really hard to explain, Ash~ I'm still also trying to accept the truths that I was told about. You see..." I said and I took a deep breath before I eyed Ash in the eye.

"Serena and I~" I stopped again with my fingers already starting to fidget against each other.

Ash did not move and I'm sure he is expecting my next words. I didn't managed to say what I had to say so I only stood up and went to a cabinet. I opened its drawer and took out the envelop that Serena left this morning.

I handed it to Ash which he opened cautiously.

His brows likely narrowed when he saw what was inside.

"Isn't this-"

"Yes~ It's Mrs. Carolina... And the little girl standing next to her is-"

Ash cut me off even before I managed to say something that he even showed a profound look on his.

"You??!" He gave me an examining gaze that I had to tell him he is mistaking it.

"No~ The girl is not me, Ash~" I only told him that he wasn't likely convinced and looked at the photo again.

"Look at the back of it and you'll understand." I told him so he flipped the photo and read what was written on its back.
