May's POV:

Tonight, Dawn and I worked in K'Royal and it was more like a full house that we ended up finishing and closing at a later hour than usual.

"Hey, won't you two want to let me drive you home?" KenKen came out of the restobar and playing with the keys of his car.

I crossed my arms and smirked when he eyed Dawn next.

"Won't you be going with uncle, KenKen?" I asked.

"Nah... He said that he still had somewhere to go so I have to drive alone tonight~ Come on. I'll drive for you two tonight~" He insisted and even pushed me and Dawn in his car already at the back seat.

Talk about being pushy~

"Ah~"

"It is okay, Dawn! I don't mind bringing you back to your house." KenKen said and he started his car glancing at me once. "Is Max already at home by this hour, May?"

"I'm sure he is or he could have messaged me."

"Oh, alright! Then let's get this on the road!" He exclaimed before playing a certain song that set the mood for us.

Dawn leaned herself on her seat and I looked out of the window when the car drove off. I also leaned my head on the window glass and I came to spot a certain shop which we passed by.

I closed my eyes when something came to mind~

"Memories~" I slipped and it seemed like Dawn actually heard me say it.

I saw her reflection from the glass and I only smiled telling her that it was nothing.

"Hey, May~ Are you free on the 13th??"

I heard her asked softly but she quickly bit her lip and told me not to mind anymore and she remained quiet already until we reached their place. Cynthia was quick enough to come out when the car parked and she also had a brief interview with KenKen before they waved goodbye to us.

"Dawn's sister is in the acting industry, right?" He asked when I lowered my cap's visor to cover my face. "Someone came by earlier today when you weren't still in the restobar yet. I just remembered now~ She was inquiring if Dawn is working there or not and I told her that she was. Then she mentioned that Cynthia is trying to get in the acting industry for a career..."

I lifted my visor with my finger peeking at the mirror in front as KenKen glanced at me.

"She did not inroduce herself and just left.. It was kinda strange~" I heard him.

"Really?" I asked and he said that he was just curious before he actually changed the topic.

"May, I heard from dad... Have you decided?" He asked wheeling the car to a turn and we stopped when the traffic lights were red.

Hearing his question, I already knew what he meant. He is talking about what I was told last night in a call with mom.

I crossed my arms and directed my sight to that red light. The sudden memory made me bit my lip and cursed silently. I was even aware that KenKen heard me but he remained quiet.
