Dawn's POV:

"So you are leaving today???" Lana asked Ash and she didn't continue eating yet. She is sitting parallel to me and next to her sister who is on her left.

We are having our breakfast here in the kitchen and we have prepared our things so that we can leave after we finished. Today, we will be riding the ferry back to the city and I will be seeing my sister again. She has been calling me last night assuring if we will really be back today and I told her that we will really do...

"Aw~ I was hoping I could play more time with you, big bro~" One of the twins said and pouted at Ash that the raven-haired grinned at her since both the twins were sitting on both his sides.

"Hm~ Don't be sad about it anymore, Harper.." Ash told her and she only continued eating while the other one who I remember as Sarah on Ash's left was only quiet.

"We actually really need to leave... We have been extending our stay here already due to the storm afterall..." Drew spoke and he is sitting on my right and Max is next to him then May and Teresa on the other end next to May.

Miss Abigail sits on my left parallel to Teresa since we are eating on a rectangular table.

"I will not forget you dears... I hope you can come visit again here some time~" Miss Abigail told us and she smiled that I heard May to have spoken on her seat.

"We will always remember your hospitality to us, Abigail! And your baking too~" May spoke up that Ash agreed with her igniting a grin on his face and a thumb up.

"Yeah... I will miss those cookies~" Ash said and it made us laugh that he started telling a story about his childhood related to a cookie that we enjoyed both the food and the story.

"Well, Abigail, would you mind if I ask something about that old mansion??" May suddenly asked changing the topic after Ash finished his story and our attention moved to her. "We have heard those men last night talking about a hidden treasure and a family and an old man... What happened to that mansion anyways??"

"Oh, that story??" It was Teresa who answered and there was a short silence after she added something else. "That old mansion was owned by a wealthy man here in town. He was well-known for his business success and he had lots of workers among the residents here... I might assume that those men whom you encounter last night in that mansion used to work for him before in his days..."

"So what happened to that man?? I think he died??" Ash intervened and we were all caught up to listen to Teresa and I even noticed how the twins were glancing back and forth to their plate and Teresa.

"That old man was indeed wealthy and successful. But you see, he has no family. There were no relatives that came to visit him once since he moved here in town and he never married. Back then, he was diagnosed with an incurable disease and it really shook everyone living here. There were even rumors that his men working for him were trying to please him for the inheritance if he dies since he got no one to pass his possession to as an heir. Those were the days that the gossips were all about him and even customers who comes by at the shop tells us about that man and his condition..." Teresa continued.

"Then what about the family???" May spoke up not permitting the conversation to end and she is surprisingly getting attentive about the topic.

"Hm~ By that time, a certain family came here to settle after meeting Webber by accident because their son was ran over by the car he was riding that day... The accident put the boy in coma for one month and it happened in another province during the time Webber was in vacation... After that incident, the family of three lived with Webber in that mansion after knowing that they were eventually looking for a new place to stay... Webber treated them as his own and it was then that he decided to make the father inherit his possession. When Webber died, there were unknown individuals who ambushed the family when they were on their way to a restaurant after the funeral and they were never found... The files and documents about the possessions of Webber were never found as well. It was then believed that they survived and ran away with it or it was stolen. But rumors has it too that some of the treasures of Webber were hidden somewhere in his mansion but no one dared to search that place before because it was a private property... But after hearing that there are men who drinks in that mansion at night, that means they are really still hoping for that treasure..." This time, Miss Abigail was the one who continued the narration and we were all silent until she finished.
