May's POV:

"Sheesh~ Those bastards~" I muttered as I was pressing my left upperarm lightly and this certain guy bended his body and looked at me holding onto the small box and plastics of groceries.

"You can walk, right??" He asked me that I narrowed my doubtful glare at him.

"How did you-" I was supposed to ask but he cut me off and answered pronto even before I could finish.

"I was confronted by those kids when I passed by earlier. No need to thank me though~ Thank them~" He replied and he pointed the two street kids earlier and they were hiding behind the wall before they slowly and shyly walked to me and lowered their head before me.

"Thank you, big sis~ For saving us from those bad guys~" And a sniff in between that the little boy was already teary-eyed and the older girl embraced him.

"Thank you so much for helping me and my brother..." She trailed off that I suddenly felt sympathetic to these two so I composed myself even though I still felt a bit of pain.

I did my best to smile and kneeled down to their level and I touched their shoulders that they looked to me in the eye.

"Do you live around here??" I asked them and they were speechless. "Where are your parents??"

"I don't think those questions are necessary... Have you eaten, you two??" The guy who helped me from those gangsters spoke up and he lowered himself on my right looking at the two.

I looked around me and saw the plastic that was left on the ground from afar where my shoe was and I went to pick it up and I wore my shoe back.

"I am sorry about your food~" I uttered out when I saw what is inside the plastic and I was sad that the older girl shook her head keeping herself to cry while still embracing her brother.

"It- It is fine... You still saved us, big sis~ Thank you... And you too, big bro~" She said that I somehow noticed  how her brother clenched his fists on his sides not looking at us.

"There is a nearby bakery just at the intersection from here... Take this and fill yourselves... And keep yourselves out from trouble again." Said this guy who helped me and he handed each of the two a bill of money that is a high amount making the two to widen their eyes at him before they received it.

"What is your name, big bro??" Asked the little boy and he was caught up with the money he held with his hand.

"Ts~ I am sorry, kid. But I don't spill my name that much... But anyways, A, is fine for you to remember. Take care of yourselves~" He only replied and he even flicked his bangs and smirked proudly that I had this impression that the little boy admired him already and he even pulled his mask down revealing his nose and mouth.

"Will do. Big Bro A~ I won't forget you two!" The little boy shouted waving at the two of us when he and his sister ran along already.

"So, are you fine on your own??" I was then questioned when those two were gone and this A eyed me.

He was already wearing his hood this time and even before when he fought with those guys.

"I can manage my own... Thanks for your help~" I told him and I drew nearer to get the box and the groceries from him to leave this stinky place already. The pain gradually subsided as well so I was able to move more freely.

"Hm~ You're bold to fight those wild guys before on your own~ But you should know when to attack and not get beaten up like what-" I got heated up with his words after I got the box and the groceries from him that I cut him off when I turned around not facing him anymore.
