DRABBLES AND SERIES [ jinbyul ]

short story 1: rain

maybe jin's affection for byulyi is stronger than his hate for rains.

all of his members knew it.

seokjin hated rain. 

whenever it rains, he'd always wrap himself in a protective rain coat, hooking the hoodie to cover his head, always bringing in an extra umbrella just in case the rainy season starts. and now, it's a rainy day once again.

one reason why he hates rain is because of the cold stinging in the skin, and for sure- it will leave marks for tomorrow, he'll be having an allergy. he never lurks in it, even if back then as a kid, he loved it.

he didn't seem to see anything worthy to love over his hatred for rain. he hates it, he hates suffering by sneezing a lot whenever his allergy occurs.

so every friend of him knew how much he's against the fun of the rain. 

one thing that intrigues their members as well wasn't just his hatred for the rain, but also another matter that confuses them is his feelings for a mamamoo member, since he had been always silent about it, yet obvious within' his eyes and actions.

seokjin is expressive within' his love towards everyone, even their members can feel it. but seeing how he acts around byulyi, something is quite... odd. jungkook can feel it. he keeps observing how seokjin is always the laid-back one when byulyi is around, letting her talk a lot while he listens.

that was never his trait. 

jin is the type to talk a lot, and even talk even more when the other party is talkative. byulyi is that; very talkative. when jungkook came to know that these two are involved in a single group, he for sure knows that seokjin is enjoying her company.

it was true. 

but these days, things were a little odd. if he'll try to recall it, seokjin had never drifted apart from the '92 crew no matter how busy they were. he can even catch seokjin being awake in the middle of the night, participating in a video-call party of them five. 

and sometimes, he can even hear that it's only a single conversation with him and byulyi. 

so he was wondering why.

why seokjin began acting so nonchalant around her when everyone knows how close they are. but he had stopped questioning that as soon as he started observing his hyung's small occasional smiles whenever he'd stare at byulyi a little too long.

then he got it, seokjin is crushing on the energetic woman. he wasn't sure if it's obvious for the others, but it began knocking some sense in his mind when jin started staying up so late talking to her yet being so subtle in person. he's being careful, yet he's savoring the moment from the way he lets byulyi talk a lot.

he knows him well.

seokjin will even listen intently, laughing at her most absurd stories. he's too attentive yet not loud about it, he will even see how seokjin will even lift a finger to get rid of a dust in her cheek while she's talking whenever they are in the waiting rooms, he'll notice how he'll pat her head so adorably whenever they part ways.

then he'll notice his lingering stare whenever byulyi gets to leave first, smiling to himself before tearing his gaze away from the female idol.

he had never done that with his other female friends. 

but byulyi was too dense to notice those details.

just from the view itself, everything is too heart-fluttering, as if his hyung is living in his teenage years, showing his affection but not so obviously to be confronted about it.
