seokjin and byulyi has a secret.

a secret that seems like a sacred oath and an announcement at the same time due to the obvious exposure but pure silence on their sides.

but then, how do they still get away with these dating secrecy, and in actuality, do they, really?

they kept these unpromised guides to keep their relationships hidden for a while, knowing that they'll need to not be caught for a moment while their groups are at their peaks.

and that includes their very first unwritten rule of not being obvious on stages, until they became too obliviously obvious about it.

rule one: be casual in public, whatever happens.

it was their set-up. always.

nobody would ever doubt them if they became too silent in public, averting their eyes away from each other, as if the other party was non-existent.

it became a habit of seokjin quickly looking away, before looking right back up in a spare second when byulyi is no longer looking.

it was a set-up wherein everytime bangtan would win an award, byulyi will always be oh-so casual greeting them, as if she was oblivious of the idea of seokjin keeping his eyes close on her direction to immediately bow down to her to acknowledge her lovely congratulatory remark.

nobody had ever paid attention within' the tension going on with the couple since everyone was diluted with the idea of their friendship either being dissolved, or being the only matter present.

seokjin would always make sure that he was never giving a good reaction for her, acting stern or distracted would be his key to success each shows together with her.

but then, despite all of those, the people around them definitely knew that they were more than touchy once the camera started drifting away.

everything had started around 2017.

rumor.

that was the time when seokjin had felt that it was all possible. it was all just a harmless accusation of netizens, telling how they are assuming that they are dating just because of a stupid interview.

that was the peak of their circle's friendship, and he wasn't able to deny how lovely she is. if she is cute when the camera is on, she sure is a hundred times more adorable when it's off.

byulyi had felt the same special feeling for the idol, but she didn't attempted anything special, subtly throwing a flirty joke here and there, but she wasn't even aware that it's drawing him closer.
